will artists be assigned specific character(s) to avoid too many ppl drawing the same character?
Hey there! Thanks for the question! How we're going to make sure folks don't all flock to 1 or 2 characters is that we're limiting the amount of people can sign up to make art for certain characters. What we mean by that is that when the sign up for collaboration sheet rolls out we're going to ask for your 4 characters you'd be willing to do art for. And from there we'll get back to each collaborator and - as you guessed, assign the character they will be working on.
To ASO Staff: If and when you eventually do your own adaptation of "Sonic Generations," will the theory of "many-worlds interpretation" apply and therefore create an alternate version of Mobius consisting of then-past versions of Prime Zone characters and Dr. Ivo Robotnik; all who would presumably want to attempt to change their own fates after learning future knowledge from their Prime Zone counterparts and Dr. Eggman, respectively? I look forward to this story when it eventually comes out!
There are no plans for a Sonic Generations adaptation at the moment, but the idea of Robotniks from different timelines teaming up is an interesting one... who knows what the future will bring?
how many creators are you hoping sign up?
Hey there! Good Question - Because this is free and digital we have have no limits to the amount of creators that can sign up. But we're hoping at minimum 20 creators to sign up! We know it's a big ask but, we also see the love in the community so we've just got our fingers crossed.
To Staff: I looked at Edangered Species the other day, and one line caught my attention. Knuvkles asked why Sonic was helping him instead of Sally, and Sonic replys within the lines of "either save her, or save Albion." Does Endangered Species take place in an alternate continuity where Sally doesn't survive #249?
Nope. Knuckles Endangered Species is a remake of the official Endangered Species arc that lasted from Sonic the Hedgehog #243-246, meaning that chronologically it takes place before Sally was rescued.
