Hi everyone! It has been a minute since we last talked ~ but we are live on ITCH, the zine is a love letter to Silksong and while the game has yet to come out. This of this as the pre-game before it comes out in a few days! We hope the rest of the community enjoys the booklet! And here’s my finished piece for the @silksongzine ! I had an absolute BLAST working on this, especially painting the background! There was actually another version of the background that I finished, but I ended up not liking it so I went with the original version, which was this one!

Hey I wrote a fic for @silksongzine because. Look, I'm excited too. Odds are this is only the first of many to come in the near future because I know myself and I'm very, very excited.
"How the HELL is there a Silksong zine out before the game" because the mod team thought it would be funny and the contributors agreed. My own piece is pretty speculative and mostly involves the lore I came up with a couple years back for my HK fics, which likely won't have anything to do with things actually present in Pharloom but honestly, I'm fine with that. If canon contradicts it, oh well, got my thoughts down first and I think that particular series of fics has veered slightly away from canon already :P
She Who Would Weave Together the World
On the journey to Pharloom, the ancestral home of the Deepnest weavers, Hornet finds herself thinking about the reason she undertook this journey in the first place: the long-revered goddess of the weavers, and the stories Herrah the Beast held dear until the end. It's been so long that Hornet only really remembers one, but it's the most important one. The tale of the goddess who wove the world together.
I may also be mildly annoyed that the first comment I got on that fic was a spambot one but honestly, whatever, I've already reported that to AO3
