Anyone else find it eerily poetic that the #1 paid for iPad app was built using Adobe Flash??? Add to that the new Flash Player 11 that is coming, I see a solid gaming and 3D future for Adobe Flash that HTML5/CSS3 is just not ready for. The advancement in hardware acceleration from Stage 3D integrated with the telephony capabilities are definitely going to bring flash gaming into competition with consoles.

You know all the marketing that tablet makers push touting the ability to be Flash friendly? Here is a quote from the site androidandme.com about the current and soon-to-be-released versions of Adobe Flash Player:

There is some additional, interesting information about what the new version of the Flash Player will be capable of. However, in our experience in developing for Flash is that it continues to be processor hungry. These new features, even with the claim that Flash will play faster, may require beefy processors to fully take advantage. We'll see...Â
