Just saw the musical adaptation of Disney's Hercules and well, it was mediocre in my opinion. Like it wasn't a waste of money but also not something I necessarily recommend to everyone who asks what musical to book in Hamburg. It was just fine and didn't really leave any impression. However, many of the jokes just don't land, no matter how much the talented cast tries.

Well, we'll see if it has staying power in Hamburg. My show was only a bit more than half full on a Sunday evening. I've seen fuller musical shows during the week.

Just watched "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" in Stuttgart and have the full intention of writing a detailed review, but so far a few notes:

-Holy shit, was that amazing! This might very well be the most clever and inventive Disney Musical out there.

-It's Disney, but it doesn't really feel like a typical Disney show. It's SO mature.

-Felix Martin as Frollo is just perfect.

- "Esmeralda" is definitely the "One Day More" of this show and it's amazing.
