HEU Dog Collages
Nigel - Protective, possessive, impulsive, intimidating, playful and attentive
Doberman, German shepherd; smart and cunning, but can be impulsive and hard to train. High energy = high drive. Protection/bite work dogs. Loyal, playful, and highly attached. Can become anxious and reactive if not trained or socialized properly. Incredibly vocal.
Duncan - Gruff, quiet, protective, fatherly, awkward, and affectionate
Wolf, Wolf dog, Bernese mountain dog; bred for protection. Wild breed, not an ideal domestic dog. Wolf dogs need proper space and handling, they are not the average house pet. Social, pack oriented, ideally with other wolf dogs. Wolf body language ≠ dog body language, makes it difficult to socialize with ‘normal’ dogs. Loving and affectionate, incredibly loyal.
Adam - Energetic, loving, focused, anxious, awkward, excitable, and loyal
Australian shepherd, border collie; loving and playful, they can be great companions. However, without a proper outlet for their high energy and drives, they can become anxious, reactive, and overly attached to their owners. Their attachment and focus can be their strength as well as their downfalls. Some love to be social, some prefer to focus on family and safe people. They can be independent, especially border collies, who can often go off on their own and focus on play.
