Her arms drag back down to her sides as she leans against your chest. She hums, and you feel her smiling against you.

"Say, you never really told me what you did for a living..?"

"It doesn't really matter."

"You can't just not answer any of my questions, sweetheart."

"Sure can."

She groans and you chuckle. You stay a good moment in complete silence, before she untenses and sighs against you. Blindly, you brush some of her leaves from her face. In the distance, you hear a drunken rumble happening, yet you ignore it.

You don't remember being this happy without a reason in a long time.
