I’ve thought about that too: Pinkie having a voice that’s bold and joyous but not necessarily pretty to listen to. Also: in karaoke she often changes the lyrics to lovey things about Fluttershy.

OK, the last one, I don’t get… I’ve always been of an opinion that time flies differently between the two worlds, but that more time passes in Equestria than the human world. I mean, all of Season 4 goes by and the school is still in the same year.

I actually wasn’t sure if we knew or not if it was the same school year. But then, I am often unobservant.

Really, I was just kind of making b.s. extrapolations from the Sirens being in the human world for, presumably, a fairly long time but still looking like teen girls.

Maybe the real answer is that ponies-turned-humans have killer skin care regimens that keep them looking fresh and youthful.

I may as well just answer this as you're not the only person to ask... I've just been really depressed lately and I don't know... what... I'm really doing I guess.  Or what to do...

I don't wanna talk about it all here, but my heart just isn't in this right now.  But I might be back, we'll see.  I just need time to figure stuff out.

SWEET, SWEET VALIDATION. Though mostly I am just happy that someone knows about Red Sky. :)

And it's funny, but when the Red Sky episodes were actually airing, I wasn't that into it. I'd reached the age where I thought I had to stop watching cartoons, because I was too grown up now, and it wasn't until years later that I rewatched all the Red Sky episodes that I fell in love with them.

I like how the teleporter, though the focus of a few bits of conversation, is just the post around which this fun little story of the Mane Six's children going to Twilight's birthday is built. I liked how well each child was characterized with only a few lines, like how Diamond Dazzle is perfectly willing to deal with problems in a practical manner her mother would never approve of. Shining Armour also not liking teleportation due to an incident in the past is also great.

Whoa, there, Flash Sentry is a little uptight in Equestria, isn't he? I don't know how well that fits with his human incarnation, but it's certainly amusing to read about, and it does make sense with his unique position. I do wonder who gave him that schedule book, though...

I like the idea that Applejack, waking earlier than the sunrise, get a headstart on both her days tasks and on having a little fun each morning. The callbacks to the beehive at Twilight's treehouse and Applejack's cloud-wrangling ability were fun, and Applejack leaving a bit of the honey for Twilight and fixing up Fluttershy's chicken coop were nice character moments, AJ helping her friends out without even being asked to. A fun little glimpse at the daily life of everyone's favourite apple farmer!

Man, is there anything more heart-breaking than a sad little filly singing about being lonely and homesick? Poor baby Applejack. :( At least we know that a big, bright rainbow should be leading her home very soon.
