How well do BC's NDP and Greens get along? While the NDP having a majority would be the ideal solution, couldn't they just form a coalition as long as they reduce the Liberals to a minority of seats?

Technically a coalition is possible, but the Greens and NDP don’t get along particularly well. I’m not too optimistic it would happen. Because of First Past the Post, many parties that actually do see eye to eye on many issues will refuse to work together in the goal for sole power. Remember the coalition talks in 2008-2009, which would have collapsed the Harper government? They fell apart, because the parties couldn’t agree.

The Greens specifically have been attacking the NDP for weeks now on twitter, instead of focusing on the main target, which is the BC Liberals. I’ve seen the NDP focusing more on the BC Liberals, largely ignoring the baiting of the Greens.

Sunlight is so good. Like, I don’t draw it a lot, but that’s because I get ideas for it all the time but never really feel up to the task. And it’s all pony Twilight for me. I still haven’t seen past Rainbow Rocks. I want to, but honestly it’s difficult to believe anything could live up to it.

I feel like, out of any ship I can think of, Sunlight has the best canon story. Like, Twilight chasing after Celestia’s former student and helping her redeem herself? And then Sunset feels all guilty and unsure of herself until she saves the day in a big gay music battle? And then they have a book so they can keep in touch across different universes? Yeah, I’m all about that.

And I’m really into the idea of Twilight helping Sunset deal with her guilt over the person she was, and helping her move on and become better. But I’m also into Sunset still being kind of a rebel and helping Twilight question things more and see things from a different perspective. And Twilight could update her with news from Equestria so she still has that connection to home, and Sunset could tell Twilight stories of Celestia before she knew her, and they could bond over being magic nerds and it’d just be a lot of fun. Personally I’d hope she comes back to Equestria someday, maybe after finding the original human Sunset Shimmer and introducing her to the main six so the universes can be in balance.

It’s honestly kind of a shame that it’s wrapped up in the whole Equestria Girls thing. Cause, like, I like the movies, but I still kind of. Hate it? Like, I love the concept of Sunset Shimmer, and I’m even intrigued by the idea of having this alternate universe populated by copies of characters we know. But the fact that it’s weird-art-style humans in a high school AU and going through the portal converts adults into seemingly perpetual teenagers and everything is just… I don’t know. It bugs me. There’s a lot of good ideas there, but I wish literally every single other part of it was different.

i don’t know yet! maybe. i’m not opposed to the idea. i’ll just say that if i did it, it definitely wouldn’t include melody or allison, and more than likely wouldn’t include jodie or faith. and also claire is already so busy with witch stuff that i’m not sure she could handle having more than one partner to pay attention to

but hey, y’all can ship whatever you want as long as it’s not, y’know, Bad Stuff. i’ve seen some people convinced claire and jodie are dating and like, hey, whatever floats your boat

Wait. They make you fast for eight hours before the procedure, but then you can eat DURING the procedure? I guess the fasting must relate to something they do at the very beginning, but that still seems odd.

It does seem very odd! I think part of it might be for nausea? Cause when I first got there they put an anti-nausea patch on me, so maybe it’s like I’m fine to eat once that’s kicked in? But they don’t want me throwing up during the surgery, and if there’s nothing in your stomach (not even water, btw), you're less likely to have that problem.

That’s my best guess.
