Especially since it seems like the human of the pack is much more to his liking.

When Stiles came into the café he wasn’t sure what he had expected, but it certainly wasn’t Deuc, sitting at their usual table, seemingly waiting for him like nothing had happened. Like he hadn't lied to Stiles since the very first meeting.

Rage bubbled up in Stiles, unbidden and strong, and he preferred it over the stab of hurt that came along with it.

“Scott and Lydia found a time travel spell,” Peter immediately told him and going by the glare Scott sent his way, he hadn’t wanted Stiles to know.

“Time travel?” Stiles asked, confusion obvious in his voice.

“He’s going to send someone back in time, to prevent everything,” Peter explained and finally the penny dropped for Stiles. He could get Deucalion back.

“When are we getting started, then?” Stiles asked and finally dropped the blanket around he still had around his shoulders.

He had more important things to do than to keep pretending this little barrier could protect him from things that already ripped him apart.

This is my story for Stalin Appreciation Week Day 5, and the prompt was Time Travel.

I decided to make it a fix-it for the horrible little drabble I wrote for @lavender-lotion, which can be found here. That one has major character death, but I promise the time travel makes it all better.

What You Should Know

General Info:

Stalion Appreciation Week will be running from June 17 - June 23, 2018. It is a week dedicated to creating content that involves Deucalion/Stiles Stilinski.

Rules:

1. Please, please remain respectful.

No kink shaming, nasty comments or overall rudeness. This should be kept a safe and welcoming place for anyone participating (whether that’s as a content creator or content consumer!). Really, just be nice!

2. Works in progress are welcome!

I know how much work it can be to finish up fics for an appreciation week, so don’t worry! WIP’s are more than welcome!

3. Themes are not mandatory!

If you don’t like a specific theme (or any of the themes) that is a-ok! They are more suggestions that you can follow if you want.
