► MALAGUEÑA SALEROSA COVER ► PLACIDO DOMINGO COVER
It's blasphemous to attempt a Placido Domingo song without any sort of opera vocal training but I went ahead and gave it a shot. This is an old Mexican song in the Son Huasteco, Huapango style which has been covered a gazillion times by Mariachis and recording artists for ages.

► MORNING STAR COVER ► AFI COVER
Here's my vocal cover of Morning Star by AFI.
A fellow YouTuber, Matt Wise (mwwiseone), produced and recorded all the music for it. It was so good that I just had to lay a vocal track over it.

Vengeance comes in many forms. I achieve mine thru music and video while making my enemies the subject of my inspiration. The pain fuels my creative spark and I will not stop until my story is told. Art imitates life imitates art. This is only the beginning. My wrath has just begun.
Five-Kills Friday - 007

Here's this week's “Five-Kills Friday” - A list designed to document my journey and a tool for accountability and self reflection. Below is a summary of how I’ve been investing my time this week, what I’ve been listening to and learning, plus an update on my primary purpose projects and leisure activities.
I. Audio Book I'm listening to: Crucial Conversations, by Kerry Patterson. Great lessons on how to talk when the stakes are high and overcome those feelings of hurt or anger that lead to reactive responses and transform them into powerful dialogue in order to help both parties achieve what they really want.
II. Quote I'm reflecting on: "Lean not into thyne own understanding" Sometimes things don't make sense at the moment and our primitive human brains tend to over think and hold onto anything that may fill the void of unanswered questions, even at the expense of our own sanity. However, there is an intelligence greater than all of us which has been keeping the universe in perfect harmony for eeons. I'm just a part of a divine entirety and there really is nothing to fear. Today I choose to trust that infinite intelligence rather than the chaos and noise inside my head.
III. Mentorship: I spent two hours inside Roland Alvarez's home based Mastering Studio Suite, learning all about analog consoles and processors used for high end mastering. The level of wisdom I gained and nuggets I absorbed in those two hours was priceless.
IV. Song I'm listening to: Unchained Melody, by the Righteous Brothers.
V. Connection: I had the pleasure of meeting with John Tovar of TMG, the man who discovered Marilyn Manson and the Spooky Kids and managed their band during the 90s. It was a delight listening to the stories he shared about his time with Manson and his perspective on the music industry today.
Final Thoughts:
Abundance. When we come from a place of abundance, we will never experience lack because it's impossible to feel two opposing forces at the same time.. or is it? ;) If you feel abundant, you will see more abundance in your life. If you feel lack, then the universe will align to show you more lack. The choice is always ours.
So now the question begs… What are YOU doing?
Let me know what your Five Kills of the week were. (wait, what? Kills? Headshot!)

Five Kills Friday - 001
Happy Friday Fvkers!
Here’s the first weekly edition of my “Five-Kills Friday” - A list designed to document my journey and a tool for accountability and self reflection. Below is a summary of how I’ve been investing my time this week, what I’ve been listening to and learning, plus an update on my primary purpose projects and leisure activities.
I. Book I’m reading or listening to on Audio: The Like Switch. It’s a self development book written by an Ex-FBI Agent who shares his experience on how to instantly be liked by strangers and how to attract and win people over. The guy used to recruit spies and convince them to defect their allegiance using strategies such as Proximity + Frequency + Duration + Intensity which are usually the steps to develop a friendship with someone.
II. Quote I’m pondering and applying to my life: If it is to Be, it’s up to Me. Heard this from Jesse on a Simple Pickup video which painted a clear picture in my head that the only one responsible for the quality of my life, is me. No one else is going to do it for me. So whatever it is that I want, it is up to ME to do the work.
III. Primary Purpose Project: After many years coping with distraction and procrastination on my music, the time has come to finish production on my 7 track EP. Currently working on the first track of the album with a personal due date of Feb 1st 2016. I’ve got the meat and potatoes of the song down already and tuned my guitar down to A# for recording next week. Will be producing some sick industrial drums this weekend and tweaking up the lyrics.
IV. Alternative Project or Hobby: I started learning how to speak and write in Japanese a few weeks ago and I’m already at the equivalence reading / speaking level of a 1st grader!...or was that Kindergarten? I forget. I’m almost finished learning the Hiragana Japanese Alphabet. わたしはにほんごがわかります
V. Leisure Activity that brought me Joy: Went to watch STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS - The IMAX Experience in 70MM 2D Film Format for the 3rd time since it’s release last month :)
Final Thoughts:
Weekends can be epic. For most of us with 9-5 day jobs, it’s the time of the week when we have 2 full days to maximize our productivity on our path to financial freedom without the stress and mental draining poison endured from the Rat Race. For others it is a time to pAArty and forget about work all together. I think a healthy balance of both will lead to the Good Life; you know, the one everyone wants but not everyone gets?
Therefore, how we invest our time during the workweek has the greatest impact on whether we will rise and conquer or diminish into an abyss of mediocrity. We must do what must be done, when we must do it, whether we feel like it or not.
All work and no play makes Jack a mother fvken CEO Bauss… only as long as Jack is actually working when he says he’s working and not slacking off on Social Media. Of course, Jack might also be inclined to jump off the 67th floor after a mental breakdown. Too much work related stress, or stress in general can lead to burning out and a decrease in productivity. Remember to schedule a few hours of leisure to establish a healthy balance of both.
So now the question begs… What are YOU doing?

While I waited... I was wasting away.
Time, as I’ve come to understand it, waits for no one. There IS no time. There is only NOW.
The one who waits shall wither away and die with their music still left inside of them.
We all have a story we want to tell, a vision we want to explore, a life goal we need to accomplish, but instead of trusting our gut and executing on what we already know must be done; we sit back and procrastinate. We wait for the perfect time, the perfect opportunity, the perfect moment and end up wasting precious years of our lives over thinking, over analyzing and immobilized by fear. Suddenly we realize our whole life has passed us by, regret overwhelms our being and we waste away living a mediocre, uninspired life.
This is unacceptable. This is not who I am. This is NOT who I was born to be.
Many have felt this way before. I have felt it. And I’m sure you have too if you’re reading this far. The only way out of this trap is to take massive action, executing on tasks that move us closer to our goals and life purpose. Every minute that we waste engaging on low value, unproductive activities is lost forever. It can never be replenished or recovered. So why wait?
Let us start making things happen instead of watching things happen or even worse… wondering what happened.
