Just Another Day ll Bill and Charlotte
Bill yawned, leaning back in his chair. The words on his computer screen had long since blurred together in a bright haze of white noise, meaningless to Bill now. It seemed that he’d been working all day, but it was only noon. He sighed, swivveling around in his chair to face his beloved Ivysaur, looking out the window at the ocean.
“I jus’ can’t seem t’ focus.” Bill told her, the grass type turning to face her trainer. Bill took his glasses off and rubbed the bridge of his nose. This was happening more and more often. He’d get so close to a breakthrough when all of his focus and determination would slip away.
His Ivysaur walked over, giving him a smile and pulling herself onto his lap. Bill patted the grass type on the head “Hey! I know. Why don’t we go into town for a spell? Being cooped up here in the cape all day ain’t good for us.” The grass type nodded in agreement, and Bill smiled, “Alright then. Let’s head out.”
With that, Bill and his Ivysaur headed out the door of his house and headed across Nugget bridge and into Cerulean City.
"So, Lierre, what should we do first?" He asked, keeping his eyes on his Pokemon rather than in front of him, bumping right into someone.
"Oh! I'm really sorry! I wasn't watching where I was going."
