also im going back to working immediately after this is posted but. if i ever say i love the people in my band that automatically does NOT by ANY MEANS include the percussionist section leader. he’s an antisemitic homophobic (white) guy and i feel bad for all the jewish and LGBTQ ppl in our band (which includes me obviously, since im aroace and nb) who ever have or have had to interact with him ever. certainly every other percussionist in our band is nice as far as i know. he’s a Disgrace

actually i feel bad for anyone who’s ever interacted with him, ever. he’s the Worst but at least he’s graduating this year, but so is stamie, beka, zach, ellie, liz, anita, ben . . . a bunch of nice seniors. :T

"YOU DID WHAT" Jamie/Stiles!

I feel like this was supposed to be serious, but like most things with Jamie and Stiles...it’s not.

It had been a long day. When Jamie started studying to be a nurse, she had all these illusions of what it would be - helping people, saving lives, getting people back on their feet. She was going to be in the ER, doing all sorts of crazy things to snatch people from the brink of death.

Instead, on days like today, she was doing nothing but giving people stitches and setting a few broken bones. It was the first real day of spring, with the sun out and the temperature nice. She should be outside, enjoying the day, but she had work.

The sun was just setting as she walked up the stairs to her and Stiles’ apartment. She turned the key in the lock, suddenly remembering the mess that the apartment had been that morning. She would have to clean before she went to bed, that way she had a real day off tomorrow.

When she opened the door, though, she found a completely spotless apartment, and a shirtless Stiles with an apron on, standing at the stove.

“Hello there, darling.” he said in a cheesy voice, coming to greet her as she stood there shocked.

“What happened here?” she asked, amazed.

“Well I knew you had a long shift today, so I cleaned and vacuumed and swept and mopped and did the laundry and now I’m making spaghetti.” he explained, gesturing to the stove.

“YOU DID WHAT?” she exclaimed, dropping her back on the floor with an incredulous look on her face. He gave her a massive smile.

“That’s right baby, your big strong man cleaned the whole apartment and made you dinner.” he said, shimmying his shoulders. She jumped into his arms, her arms and legs going around him.

“My hero.” she said, giving him a firm kiss on the lips.

Eye of the Storm, Chapter 1

Stiles finally had it all. Balance was restored in Beacon Hills, it was summer vacation, and he had an awesome vacation. Then Derek shows up, spouting about how Cora went to South America and hasn't answered her phone in a couple days. And Stiles knows by now, nothing good ever comes from Derek showing up...

things you said at the kitchen table for Stamie! :D

Jamie had gotten her surgery just a few days ago but even though she had a bump leg, She still managed to go to Stiles house for dinner with his dad. Everything started out pretty nice. They talked about her recovery, how school was going despite not being mobile, how her family was, even how things were going at the station.

“I’m just glad Stiles has been around to help me out. I almost bit it today but he saved me.” Jamie smiled at Stiles who shrugged.

“It was no big deal. It’s nothing my cat like reflexes couldn’t handle.” He joked.

“As long as your cat like reflexes don’t pester her. I know that she’s supposed to take it easy which means no physical activity.” Both Stiles and Jamie looked at the Sheriff confused and a bit taken aback.

“Oh come on you two, you aren’t going to make me spell it out are you?” He teased.

“Oh God. Please don’t.” Stiles begged eyes wide.

“I’m not sure-” Jamie started but the Sheriff shook his head.

“I know you kids are inventive this day and age with positions and foreplay but I don’t want there to be any bedroom accidents that requires me talking to guardians. If you haven’t noticed, Stiles is quite clumsy.” The Sheriff leaned towards Jamie who blushed.

“Yeah I’ve noticed. I feel like it’s part of his allure though.” Jamie teased only making Stiles bang his head on the table.

“This is my nightmare. My girlfriend and my dad talking about how clumsy I am in the bedroom. Don’t mind me, I’ll just put this butter knife in my eye now.” Stiles mocked as the Sheriff took a drink.

“Don’t blind yourself son, Lord knows even a man with perfect vision can’t always give a woman what she needs.” Jamie choked on her water and Stiles slammed his hand on the table.

“Dad...not cool. Come on!” Stiles begged his dad who put his hands up. Jamie would never let Stiles forget this dinner, especially the next time they were in bed together. She’d ask him if he wanted help or if he hurt himself. Stiles didn’t think it was cute one bit.

Stiles shouldered his bag, glad to have morning lacrosse practice done and out of the way. He checked his watch - if he hurried, he had time to make it to the corner store and back and have some breakfast. He jogged out the front doors, heading down the stairs towards the parking lot. No one was around - they were sitting in their first period classes, while lacrosse took up that spot on his schedule. He misjudged the steps, slipping and falling and hearing a definite crack come from his ankle before pain exploded all the way up his leg. He swore loudly, rolling onto his back and pulling his knee to his chest. Was his ankle broken? It felt broken.

"You okay?" a voice came. Stiles looked up to see a very pretty blonde girl blocking the sun, her hair making her look like an angel.

"God?" he asked. She gave him an odd look.

"You can just call me Jamie." she replied.

"Fair enough. Um, yea, yea I think I'm okay." he said. The pain was starting to ebb away.

"Really? Cause your ankle is like, the size of a grapefruit." she said shortly.

"What?!" he exclaimed.

"Yea and I think I can see a bone." she added.

"WHAT?!" he yelled, putting his head down. He didn't want to see it, it would just make him throw up.

"Just kidding, that's your sock. Your ankle is really swollen though. Do you need some help to the nurse?" she asked. He let out a sigh.

"No I've got it." he said, trying to be manly.

"Dude if your hurting it's not weak to ask for help." she said.

"I'm fine." he said, sitting up and actually looking at the damage. God, it was super swollen. He tried to get up, but immediately collapsed as soon as he had to put weight on that leg. "Okay, um, I may need some help."

"Okay, I got you." she said, holding a hand out. Stiles hesitated for a moment before grabbing it. She tried to pull him up, but he couldn't get his leg underneath him in time, and instead she pulled him to the side, sending a huge throb of pain through his leg again.

"SHIT." Stiles yelled. If his ankle was't broken before, it totally was now.

"Oh my God I'm so sorry!" she said, dropping his hand and covering her mouth in shock.

"It's cool, let's just give it a count next time." he said through gritted teeth. He was really very grateful for Jamie's help, but he was also in a lot of pain.

"Got it. Ready?" she asked, grabbing his hand again.

"Ready." he said. Her hands were very soft.

"1, 2, 3." she said, heaving up on the last one. He pushed up, grabbing onto the railing so he was fully standing. He stood for a moment, catching his balance and his breath. The change in position was making his ankle throb with more pain. With a jolt he realized they were still holding hands.

"Uh, thanks." he said, dropping her hand. He could feel the heat rising on the back of his neck.

"No problem. Um, do you need help to the office?" she asked, her cheeks also painted pink.

"Uh…yea, I think I do." he admitted after testing some weight through his ankle. It definitely did not feel good.

"Ok, uh, let's…here." she said, awkwardly fidgeting around till she was next to him. She pulled one of his arms over her shoulders, trying to shimmy her other arm around his waist. Her hand got a bit tangled between his backpack and lacrosse bag, but she managed after a moment.

"Let's do this." he said once she was situated. It was slow going, but he managed to limp all the way back to the office with Jamie's help. It was kind of odd, having her body pressed up against his side as she tried to support his weight. He didn't hate it, but he also felt himself blushing hard core. He hoped she couldn't feel the heat radiating from him. He let out a long breath as they made it to the office, glad to sit in a chair.

"There you go. Good luck." she said, shifting her weight from foot to foot.

"Thanks. And, uh, thanks a lot for your help." he said, giving her a smile.

"No problem." she said, returning the smile. She paused for a beat before holding her hand up in a wave. "See you around."

"See you." Stiles responded as she quickly turned and left the office.
