Since last night was Silicon Valley’s final episode, here’s all the drawings I did on the back of my sides each day in between filming. I worked a total of 50 days on the series as Richard’s standin, and although I was just a small piece of the puzzle, I’ve yet to have a more inspiring experience. Getting to see such amazingly talented people not just collaborating together, but having fun and enjoying the work they were doing completely blew my mind. Some sets are hell, but everybody was so nice and positive, even to the little guys like me, I couldn’t wait to get to work every day. You’ll notice there’s only 49 drawings in this photo though, that’s because Mike Judge took the portrait I drew of him at last year’s wrap party for himself. I can’t think of a higher honor. Maybe we’ll get to work together again some day, hopefully on some cartoons!!
