I was thinking she was planning a connection too but doing a D element just for that seems wierd, but it's the most logical scenario I can think of too. And unless I'm wrong the requirement is that they have to do elements in different directions and since she has the back saltos and a front aerial this is already covered I think. (but I'm not a code expert either so anyone more knowledgable should feel free to correct me)

Good point, but that makes more sense since it's the same element and at the point she introduced it she used it as an acro series too. And thanks for confirming that.

yeah that would make sense too, even though I think her layout full would be considered a piked full i(F element too) f they chose to downgrade it bur yes, maybe that's what they're thinking

I think it's the same person actually. Her full name is Andreea Daniela Ciurusniuc, so that's why the confussion.
