17 - Shoulder

She wasn’t against this being their thing. A bad movie (mostly by her choice) , some popcorn and some light conversation.  It had become her favorite thing to do with him around. Even better was when it could be right here in a comfortable house and no niece or nephew around.Solid privacy. Jenna had her legs thrown over Sam’s. In her logic it was her house, he was her guest, but it was also her food and beverages provided along with her charming company so therefor she could use him as a leg rest. He was free to object if he wanted too but she was — for the most part — going to ignore it. Besides, she was comfortable.Not just in position but in presence. She had grown used to having him around. If she had to describe the sensation he offered it was safety above it all. It was just one of those things. She loved having him around, hated it when he was gone. But he had a life away from the movies and conversation and that she understood. So every moment they got to spend with one another she didn't take for granted trying in little ways to show him just how much she appreciated him.She even let him have control over the popcorn bowl this time. Her head resting against his shoulder it seemed almost on reflex. When she realized she was doing it she'd shift her head back but it would just fall right back there on his shoulder. It was his fault! He was comfortable! Without thinking Jenna shifted. "I'm going to get a refill." and before going for her cup she placed her lips right against his shoulder and let them linger. Then, finally she lifted her legs off of his , feet on floor and cup in hand.She could easily blame that on reflex as well.
