I saw a headcanon that Ford didn't stopped Filbrick from kicking Stan out because he didn’t think it would last, since he expected that Stan would be at school the next day at least, but Stan just vanished and Ford didn't expected his brother to drop off the face of the earth.

What do you think?

Hm...I don't know. On one hand, Stan has never taken school seriously, and Ford knows this. Stan was told he couldn't come back until he "made millions", and while a high school diploma would make that more likely...again, Stan had never taken school seriously and had always wanted to go treasure hunting since they were kids.

I think it's less "Ford didn't think it would last" and more "Ford convinced himself Stan would be fine and could make it due to Stan being more charismatic and better with people in general than Ford"

Ford didn't stop Filbrick because he was a child living in an abusive home.
