my wheelchair lives at my dad's house between events. i totally don't miss her.
ok OC talk but
I can’t talk too much about her since I’m playing her in Monster of the Week and 3/4 of the people I play with follow me on here - but Rachel is a nightmare and I love her for it, and I think my favourite thing about her is that I managed to get it across that this isn’t for fucked up backstory reasons, she just genuinely doesn’t give a shit and that’s a Lot of fun to play. give a kid a knife, see what happens, why not! she’s a fuck around and don’t bother finding out type,
contrast with Stanley who I haven’t played in forever but who is So Very Doomed and he doesn’t even realise it. it’s my fault for basing him off Tara Browne but he’s gonna die and he was always going to die. he enjoys everything so much and has the best time, just dicking around being a socialite like but it’s not gonna last, maybe he can change his destiny but is he going to figure out how? does he care enough? maybe he just likes wearing nice clothes and going to all the clubs he can find, meeting beautiful people and all that,
...and Monti, who wants to die so desperately but can’t, they’re stuck with immortality and a long, long life ahead of them knowing that their love is dead. Monti is. probably maybe lawful evil, actually. they have to play by the rules because their soul was bound, but they’re so bitter and they’ll go to any lengths available to either unbind their soul and stop being a demon, or bring Ace, their one love, back. they can act sweet and fun but they’ve got a lot of hatred inside them. they don’t know how to mourn, it’s the next best thing, probably,
and then there’s Isaiah, who loves his son so so so much he’d do anything for him, but was just Not ready to be a father at all. he does his best and he never resents his son for it, but he had things he wants to do - stupid things. and that comes out as challenging people to fights, saying things to provoke people, he’s just twenty-something in the 80s and doing his best, but no one really appreciates him, he feels. his son loves him, though.
it’s october so you know what that means
it’s still not okay for stanley uris to take a bath
Yo tell me the following abt James and Stanley: their sweet tooth on a scale of one to ten, their favourite citrus, the last thing they cried about, and whether or not they are monsterfuckers and/or furries
James’ sweet tooth is a 9, though it’s very rare that he’s actually able to eat anything sweet (why does no one bring chocolate to their local Bastard Pharmacist?!), his favourite citrus fruit is lemon because he’s a man of taste, and the last thing he cried about was... well. judging from the canon verse and my own desire to be terrible, it’d be wiping Seren’s memories
...and he’d fuck a werewolf. I just get that feeling about him. so, both
Stanley’s sweet tooth is a 6, he likes sweets but he doesn’t go ham about them and he’d probably pick a cheeseboard over a sundae in a restaurant, most days. he likes oranges best, because they were a luxury in the UK until the mid-50s and he’s happy he gets to eat them now! the last thing he cried about was separating from Trudy, he liked her a lot even if they weren’t compatible, and this man would fuck a monster purely because he wouldn’t realise it was a monster (”that’s a lot of eyes you’ve got, there” “...it happened in a boating accident” “oh, I see! sorry for mentioning it!”)
who is your stupidest oc? i meant that as in the biggest idiot but i also want to know which one is the silliest concept now that i think about it
Stanley and Stanley ahahaha
Stanley is half-fae but doesn’t realise it. he knows his mum is fae but just assumed he didn’t inherit any of her traits so he followed in his father’s footsteps and became a real-estate agent. he is trapping people into contracts and taking their names without even realising it (his first name isn’t Stanley; his full name is Brian Stanley Wulfric Ambrose Sinclair but he exists in the 60s and is doing the thing of using his middle name). iron hurts him? metal allergy. stuff just appearing in his hands? he’s a rich boy in 1960s London, he’s used to getting everything he wants. trapping people into loopholes? he’s an estate agent.
when he’s not working, he’s living the high life in London. he has an ex-wife called Trudy who he was married to for exactly 8 months, so he’s basically going out each night and drinking three martinis that just appear in his hand. he also doesn’t have to be smart because he’s wealthy and shit just works for him.
so yeah, in every sense of the word, my stupidest OC is a 1960s half-fae playboy estate agent who doesn’t realise he’s got magical powers and spends his time buying gaudy suits and expensive coats. I love him dearly.
