Pretty sure most of us (well, me anyways) still buy the bluray. But try living in a country that is late with everything, you gotta get creative.
I assumed that was the case, hence the reference to a "principle" -- something a bit stronger than "I'll just do it for now, and then later ..." ;-) I don't want to be sanctimonious or judgmental (there's a difference between reblogging clips and buying a pirated DVD) but I've dealt with the economic and human consequences of organized crime in many different forms, and personally find even just using their materials an indirect nod to a multi-headed snake.
I do get the frustration about "lateness" - I stopped over in the UK on a flight from Europe so I could catch CA:TWS on opening night there, rather than wait the two weeks...
