Tip: If you come across a post that specifically addresses the need to protect/defend/help a certain group of people, know that it is not anyone's way of saying that your group/other groups of people do not also need help. At the same time, realize that it is also not an invitation for you to try and interrupt with why other/all groups of people also need help too. Do that in your own space. Individual groups need specific attention brought to their specific problems. Nothing will be done about them otherwise. That is what raising awareness is for. It is altogether juvenile, ignorant, and extremely rude to try and deflect from those issues by bringing up unrelated ones. Give people their space. Go create your own.
