Feeling a bit better, getting more organised. Went out for a nice walk. Been practicing photos with my phone. Cute street sign…
When I was putting up the posters a few locals aprouched me and asked questions about it. One group I spoke to were very unhappy with the quote from the council and assured me what the council had said wasn’t true. The locals in Staple Hill are obvessly very proud of where they live and are willing to defend it. This backed up the otherside of the poster that claimed Staple Hill had a strong sense of community.
Despite the fact that I was putting up a poster that part insulted their home town they were all very friendly and interested in having a conversation. I chose the pound coin to make the posters more proud. I considered using a one pence coin to represent Staple Hill being discarded to one side like a one pence being dropped on the street and left.
Many people were drawn to look at the poster due to the pound coin recently being in the news.
