Hi wally Do you know the theory in tangled that varian is a kind of third celestial force like the sun and moon together, or like the stars / comet? What do you think of this theory?

Yes! I know the theory, and I like it a lot! I like how the OP (who wrote the first post about it I think, with pictures and everything) said how his blue hair stripe in his black hair is like a star in space, a bright object surrounded by darkness (though, I mean, I don’t know if his streak will hold any significance in the show, I think it was just a cool design choice to make his character look more interesting, they knew the fans would love the streak and the goggles - they really made him a great character for cosplay)
In any case, I really like that theory, how he’s everything in between the the sun and the moon, the force that keeps it all together (maybe that means he’ll have a big role in saving Corona from Zhan Tiri in the end, somehow helping Rapunzel and Cass in an important way, after they all become friends again of course).
I firmly believe that Varian will be the new Demanitus, he’s basically sort of his apprentice now. He’ll become the new prodigy most important scientist of their time, so maybe the celestial force theory can sort of fit into that as well OwO
(I was also a big fan of the Moon Varian theory, but eh, I doubt there’s any chance he’ll have anything to do with the moonstone anymore.. maybe the shard, but I doubt it, I’m leaning more towards the Demanitus or Star Varian theories)

This was inspired by some comments in my collab with Toonbly where people were mentioning how his hair looked like a galaxy and his freckles looked like stars! I was like, YES!!! He’s associated with the moon so much but almost never with stars! And this kid was MADE for galaxy aesthetics. So anyway, enjoy your night-sky-motif kid! And thank you everyone, again!

i see people reblogging my doodle page with the starshard tag intact, so i figured i should probably introduce my friend's au! it's called the starshard au, and it's set post-series, where varian discovers a third celestial stone called the starshard and has some ✨adventures✨
please note that this is not my au, so i cant answer any questions about it! i was just the artist ^^ i actually dont know the plot (if there is any) cause she changed it all the time. all of the pieces for her i drew were just for the vibes loL
