currently watching schindler’s list with my family for the first time (not my parents’ first time) and you could hear a pin drop in my house. i weep for humanity. all i can think about is my family and how many times this continues to happen even in present day. not just for my race but everyone. now we’re talking about how the nazis took my soviet great grandparents and did the same to them. missing distant cousins i’ll never know existed because of the armenian genocide. how my mom fled baku when she wasn’t even a teenager because of the same shit they did to armenians in 2020. im so tired of our world
