kia ora everyone! star here! just wanting to post a little update for those who are around~
first of all,
i will be making a form for future content. this will be updated each month and helps me get an idea of what my followers want to see next. of course, there may be works that are posted outside of this - it will depend on interaction.
secondly, i would love to have more engagement and interactions with my followers. it's been a long time since i was properly active and so i will try to be around more. i'm going to be using a tag, #star.tags, this will have new fics, games and important information with it! feel free to follow it~
a big reason why i haven't been around much is because over the last few years, things were pretty chaotic. for those who knew, i was studying for 3 years (graduated in 2024 yay) but had a lot of issues in terms of personal life. i also got into roleplaying which i still do because it was a nice outlet when i was struggling to write works here.

however, in 2024, i went overseas for an internship that was draining on me mentally due to the work i was doing and then came home to a flatmate being extremely unsafe and exhausting. this caused a huge mental and emotional burnout that i've only just managed to get through! yay!
another reason is because feedback and interactions are not what they used to be. i have always written because i love it, i enjoy it, but i also started posting it publicly because it was so lovely to hear what you, as the reader, thought of it. while notes are always lovely to have, i don't get as much as i used to which i understand and don't mind but i have always preferred active responses, a fic could have 1000 likes but it's those who scream to me, in the tags, reblog or send me asks that make the fic a success.
if i am not getting feedback, how do i know what you want, where to improve, what you're enjoying, etc. when i don't know this information, i struggle to stick to one fic and jump around, resulting in unfinished series, ideas, and no new works.
