Pink-Up Lines: Accpeting!

Cerise didn’t even try to hold back the laugh in response. “Oh please tell me you weren’t being serious because I’m sorry that was really lame.” She says with another laugh. Not to say lame was completely a bad thing but still, that had to be up there in terms of the worst pick-up lines she’d ever heard before. And surprisingly she’d heard quite a few by this point.

An amused smile forms on the angel's face. "Can't say I'm surprised, I always look fine no matter what." He partly jokes as his wings stretched out a moment. The fire that engulfed them died out and they settle back behind him once more before fading completely. "Sorry your lovely eyes had to witness such a nasty sight." He says glancing a moment to the charred remains of the demon he'd just taken out. His dark blue eyes turn back to the siren quickly enough though. "What ever could I do to make it up to you?"

@starastrae spun the wheel and got.....Izayah!

It was still a few minutes before the club officially opened for the night, so Izayah was making sure that the bar was well stocked before then.The door opening caught his attention turning his gold eyes over to the one entering. Normally he'd inform someone that they weren't open yet, but his mind easily put two and two together. "You're the new singer for tonight right? Cutting it a bit close wouldn't you say?" He teased, though he wasn't completely wrong either. However...he quickly noticed something...off about her, though just what exactly it was he couldn't say so he kept quiet about it...for now.

When it comes to taking care of living things, Sam's pretty good with most things ( i.e. dogs, cats, animals. ) However, that ends with plants. Sam doesn't have the slightest bit of a green thumb, & has even managed to kill succulents before. Don't hire Sam to plant sit.

Sam is actually a beautiful singer. When she was younger, the boys in her class made fun of her so much for singing too frequently ( she would constantly be humming or singing something, )  that they resorted to telling her she was bad. Therefore, Sam doesn't put a lot of effort into singing these days. The most she's ever done with it is sing in choir throughout high school. She's an alto, & damn proud of that fact. Sometimes, in relationships, she loves to sing to her SO.

          There’s fear in Sam’s face. Living like this? It would only work if she could be smart enough to make sure no one ever knew. She’s not sure that she’s ever seen this lady before. Finally, there’s a clearing of her throat & Sam puts a smile on her face. Perhaps if she acted like it didn’t happen ( that move with trying to control the water, )  maybe the other would write it off.           ❝   sorry  ,  I was just about to leave. Water’s starting to get too cold anyway.   ❞    It wasn’t. Not for her, anyway. But she couldn’t risk be found out.

It had been some time since Sigil had last seen the ocean, let alone be near it. But thankfully the tower had emerged upon a small cliff side where just a short walk away one could be at the ocean’s edge. With the only hesitation being making sure she had no lessons that day the unicorn soon raced off to the shoreline, Inanna padding along behind her. The two reached the water’s edge and Sigil took in a deep breath of the salty sea air. “It’s so nice to be back at the ocean again!” She notes as a laugh escapes her upon the sight of the wolf who’d plunged herself into the chilled waters.

Inanna let out an excited bark as she began to splash around, tail wagging furiously. She’d never been by the ocean before at all so this was a fun new experience. With another laugh Sigil soon picks up her skirt a bit and joins the wolf in splashing around. They continue like that for a time until Inanna stops suddenly, catching a new scent mixed with the salty air. She begins to growl and steps in front of Sigil protectively as gold eyes lock upon a strange figure in the water. Sigil’s own teal eyes look down at the wolf rather confused by her sudden change. “What’s the matter Inanna?” She asks kneeling down next to the wolf and placing a hand upon her fur. 

Inanna merely continues to growl as the figure gets closer. Looking up now the unicorn squints a bit at seeing the figure for herself now. “Wait...is that...” Her eyes widen at the realization. “It is!” She chirps standing quickly and rushing into the deeper waters in order to wrap her arms around the siren in a hug, nearly sending the two under the waves as she did so. “Astra! It is you! It’s been so long!”
