raven doesn’t need to be an empath to know what most of the titans are thinking on a regular day, and the tension radiating from the common room right now ?? palpable. she could feel it all the way from her bedroom. 

part of her wants to ask, but that would just set everyone off again, and the garfield-victor duo can go on for hours. instead, before she can talk herself out of it, raven makes her way over to koriand’r. “ i’m going to get bubble tea. “ she’s not the best at the Friends thing, but after kori joined her in meditation... maybe she could try, “ do you... want to come ?? “

“Yeah--”  She sure did; but she also had a feeling she was a little bit out of her depth.  When it came to sparring, she tended to stick with those punching her same lightweight class, not the heavyweights who could throw lasers out of their hands (or eyes) -- but she did like a challenge.

“I’m kinda used to punching up.”  All the same, she also did not back down.
