He was silent.

The look in his eyes, how they unfocused and looked off into the distance…  It was clear that her words impacted him heavily.  He had lost lovers to death before, but it had always been sudden.

To know that she was just slowly dying and there wasn’t a thing he could do about it…  That cut him deeper than any wound.

“I-…” he sighed, closing his eyes.  “How much time?”

How much time before he lost his love again?  How much time before the pain would settle?  How much time…

It was too late to back out now.  She was going to be gone from his life, just like the others.  And he just… couldn’t do anything about it.  Instead of watching her life fade instantly, it was just… wasting away.

It made his stomach churn, feeling almost sick.

He opened his eyes finally, looking back to Soraka.

This was his life: to live, to love, to suffer, and to lose.

Perhaps he would find peace one day.  But, not anytime soon.  Until then, he would do what he could with Soraka.  Until then end.

And then… he would have to mourn once more.

Christmas Time Memes!

❄️ - Stuck inside with a blizzard!

He wasn’t a huge fan of the Freljord.  Fortunately for him, as long as the sun was up in the air, he was capable of keeping warm.  Even with clouds overhead, some light did pierce through the chill and reach him.  Just enough to keep his body like a furnace.

Which, he really needed here.

They were lucky to find a inn when they did.  With the blizzard suddenly coming from almost nowhere, he was quick to convince the inn keeper they weren’t a threat and they needed shelter from the storm.

Easy enough, especially when he produced gold to pay for their room and food.

He sat her by the fire, his own cloak, jacket, and gloves on her.  She was definitely feeling the cold, despite the fact he had surrendered much of his outerwear to try and conserve her warmth.  Meanwhile, he was slowly dripping dry, occasionally shaking his head to remove the droplets of water from his ears and head.

“We may need a bigger fire,” he muttered, pulling off one of the double layered gloves to touch her fingers.  “Sun above, you are freezing.  Are you getting any warmer?”

Of the odd things he had gotten, he wasn’t expecting a dress from outside of Shurima.  Moreover, it he wasn’t expecting it to be so big.  Well, big being a relatively term, as it was still a stretch across his body to fit.  He was relatively certain no woman had a chest as large as his rib cage, but that wasn’t the point.

The point was, he could see Soraka in the mirror.  He turned, hand moving to keep the front of his skirt down as he spun too fast.  He really didn’t want to flash anyone by mistake.

“Soraka!  I thought you would be home later,” he admitted, bringing his hands in front of him.  “Also, I must ask.  Have you worn one of these dresses before?  They are very impractical.  So very short and tight… How does someone clean in an outfit like this?”

“That....would be most appreciated, thank you.” He said, rubbing the back of his head a bit, pulling his hood back a bit when he does. “And i haven’t gotten much sleep is due to alot of travels and sleeping out in the woodlands, and those tend to have monsters and creatures out their to kill anything.”

The Stars Wander

He wasn't quite sure what part of Ionia he had suddenly wound up in... the war was over and he needed to run as far as he could from the tragic scene that was his own country betraying him and showing weakness for the first time since he could longingly remember.

Through using technology of Zaun, Noxus had lost all of it's soldiers that day within the field of battle, sacrficing his friends- his troop and almost Riven himself... and for what? To kill the enemy where they stood?

He wandered more... aimless in his travels and his arms and hands singed and burned useless from the battle and assault from those chemicals. He was passing more plants but he wasn't one hundred percent paying attention to where he was going...

Eventually Riven's exhaustion gave way, his legs giving out as the white haired man fell to his knees, then his face, dropping the large blade he still carried behind him and passing out.@starblssd
