Opening a pack of starburst is like opening up a new relationship or friendship.
You never know what your going to get.
The surprise of ripping into that package and finding out if you got that red one that you love.
Is the best feeling in the world when you get one and the red one is in the package. And even better when it’s two red ones. Because the red ones are so rare.
So rare like a good man. Good men are so rare to find. When you do find them they are gay or married or something is always wrong with them.
Maybe they are to far broken for you to fix. Or he just wasn’t the right one. Or he wasn’t ever yours to begin with. His heart was taken a while back and she walked off with it and never looked back.
So what do we do. We settle for what was given to us. Those yellow and orange ones that are good to but they are the red ones. You try mixing them together and they still don’t taste like the red ones.
Nothing compares to that red one you have had before. Nothing! So your always looking for that new shiny red starburst in the package like you had before.
Some never made it thru. Some never give up. And some never even had that red starburst.
Just a little advice from someone who has tasted that red starburst and craves every last minute of it.
Don’t give up! Never give up. Never give into all those negative thoughts and feelings. We all only ever live once. Chase after that red starburst and never settle for yellow or orange.
