“Mighty is a duck, or that’s at least what everyone thinks he is! This avian creature came from distant lands yet to be discovered. He seems very insistent on always training his skills and pushing his boundaries, wanting nothing more than to hear the crowds of the arenas cheer on his name in splendor. The harsh deserts surrounding New Lights Township have become Mighty’s training ground and new home, using his super strength to aid those who need help and to kick some people’s butt when they deserve it! Unfortunately being a low ranked brawler doesn’t pay very well, so he had to suck up his pride and get a job at a local food stand.”

“He’s bold, he’s brave, he’s 100% muscle, he’s Mighty! This guy’s ego is a bit bigger than the sun, and he’s always willing to prove his skills no matter what the activity is. Whatever he does, he’s sure to do it his way, the EXTREME way! He values his freedom and independence so much that he sometimes would rather run into a brick wall than ask for help! He’s always trying to act like some sorta tough guy even though all his close friends know deep down inside he’s just a big goofball! Despite his recklessness, he’s a loyal friend and you can count on him to be there, even if he doesn’t always have the best solution.”

“In a layer lower under the abyss near the deserts, Cypher had laid broken and dormant for a long time. A curious engineer Tiffany found him while on an expedition with her friends and decided to take the discarded robot with her to see if she could power him back on. Awoken in a world unknown yet so familiar, Cypher’s pride is hurt knowing that he was left to rot by his original creator. He’s still trying to learn and adapt to the world around him and he doesn’t fully trust everyone is here to help him.”

Personality

“A robot with free will? This idea is rather foreign to the people of the desert, but Cypher is quick to remind people he was a revolution for his time…however long ago that was. Whoever programmed his Ai must have been kind of an interesting person though as Cypher is quick to correct others, nonchalant, and is pretty rude sometimes. Despite his disinterest in doing the usual reckless adventures that his friends like to do, he’ll come along for their safety and won’t be afraid to defend the weak when needed. Cypher has a strong sense of justice and doesn’t go back on his word, he never forgets a single promise he makes.”

“New Light’s Township is a bit behind when it comes to technology, so this young engineer is taking on the challenge to bridge that gap and exceed everyone’s expectations with her creations. Day and night you’ll see Tiffany focused in her workshop’s garage making progress on intricate machines that will one day make life in the desert a breeze. She’s obsessed with the history that lies beneath these dunes and believes that her hometown used to be a much grander kingdom than the one it is now. Could her theories about New Light’s being a once ancient holy kingdom be true? Could she solve the mystery behind her home?”

“Mistakes are a sign of progress! Tiffany is never one to give up when faced with impossible odds, because she believes anything can be made possible with enough elbow grease. She’s a smart gal and she knows it, but all that ambition and dedication can really get to her head and make her overthink a situation a little too much. Thankfully her friends can tell when Tiffany is on the verge of burnout and will try to remind her that her projects aren’t going anywhere. Tiff is known to have a short temper, but she probably doesn’t realize she wouldn’t be so grumpy all the time if she took more breaks. She usually doesn’t worry about being formal, she’s unapologetically herself!”

“Puppets are known to be the strange wooden golems that often roam and inhabit forest, claiming it is their divine duty to protect wildlife at all cost. Nobody knows who exactly built Axel, but he prefers not to speak of it and keeps it in the past. The young puppet was found wandering the desert aimlessly one day by a ranger named Akicita, having no clue how long Axel had been struggling to survive on his own. He was wild, untamed, and seemed to flinch at any interaction. Akicita decided to take Axel home to New Lights Township with him and became a father figure to Axel, teaching him the ways of being a ranger. Axel has become a lot better at communication since then and is grateful for Akicita’s help. Axel is a quiet man who keeps a keen eye out for danger no matter the weather, his senses sharp and refined like an eagle’s. If a civilian is in danger, you can bet this spirited ranger will come to their aid in a heartbeat.”

“Why is his expression so stiff and…shocked? It’s almost like the docile stare of a bird. Nobody exactly knows why, nor do they know why he’s so quiet, but when he does speak he talks with wisdom, respect, and manners. He’s very cautious and focused, almost to the point it makes him look paranoid. He’s a great listener, but unfortunately his stoicism and silence can make him hard to read. They often notice the smaller details others may not stop to ponder on, and has great respect for the role nature plays for the planet. He always tries to do what he believes is honorable and will be a pacifist to the best of his ability.”
