Love love LOVE this story. The build up, how everything ties together in the end, how smooth the conversations were. And the love between Jade and his spouse. Honestly not sure what I would do if I were her by the end. Any ideas on how it would play out after he knew they knew what was in the pot? I'm seriously burning with curiosity. I feel like he would keep a close eye on them or keep them captive. But I also feel like they would either turn a blind eye or try and tell Azul. Wonderful job, a really great story!!
Me reading the first time:
Thank you so much for reading and enjoying RABU!!!! :D "shifting into soup mode" LOL,,, that's so perfect. <3 even though it's a story with dark undertones, my favorite part when writing it was depicting Jade and Reader's love for one another. They're such a cute couple!! I had lots of fun writing their exchanges. >w<
As for your question, I left it up to your own interpretation! Maybe Jade accepts that you now know because he may have already foreseen that this would inevitably happen at some point. Maybe he warns and threatens you to turn a blind eye. Or maybe you ignore it and try to look past it because you wholeheartedly believe your husband is a good man (as you look away from the very obvious fact that he's killing and cooking humans. ;;;;). There are so many routes it can go with plenty of varying reactions from Jade and Reader!!!
In the unofficial sequel, I like to imagine Detective Azul plays a larger role in sniffing out the one responsible for the many disappearance cases he's had to deal with. I think the idea of Jade being discovered and arrested makes for a riveting plot filled with emotions (especially angst >:D)!!! It also gives Azul the opportunity to finally rest and take a well-earned vacation. But it's also interesting to consider an outcome where Azul gets too close to the truth and becomes soup as a result.
