“I WOULD HAVE THOUGHT my most esteemed general would be capable of such a simple task. How...disappointing.”

Answered Meme: Have muse talk about your muse.
“General…..Hux”
The trooper breathed out the words slowly as if they could fill the confinement room around him. He thought his name over sitting against the wall, his hands bound to restraints. He was talking to himself, but in this space it didn’t feel like it. He always felt like he was being watched.
“A great leader. A powerful man. I respect him as my superior. I agree with his military choices…..” He rambled off things that were already scripted in his mind. There were other things. Things that he wouldn’t say out loud. Like he found himself staring too long at him. Inspired and in awe after his rousing support speeches. “General Hux gives us the vision to believe in the future.” He clarified to himself and shifted in his restraints.
He probably wasn’t too happy with him right now. Most likely seen as defective. A broken trooper. Useless. This is not the way he ever wanted to stand out to him. General Hux was a powerful man and he had every reason to fear his position right now.
the young son of b.rendol hux was an intriguing figure -- from the way he carried himself to the request he’d made of her. naturally, she’d already planned to cut off all loose ends, any connection to her past, and it was simply a coincidence that their goals aligned for now. after disposing of the beetle in the airlock, she made her way to hux’s quarters, barely meeting with any questioning gazes as she did so. she didn’t NEED to be. “general,” she called out, knowing that he could hear her, “it’s done. he won’t suspect a thing, and by the time he does, he’ll be too weak to say anything.” / @stardestroyed requested here!
⚔️ - (you were more of a son to my father than I, kind of family feud)
cardinal’s a recovering brendol hux addict, but he would totally put his boot in armitage’s neck if he implied cardinal wasn’t a better son.
