He’s a prophet. Sometimes it can be more of an inconvenience than anything. Words rearrange themselves oftentimes without him immediately noticing. Reading the news is the worst. It takes longer to realize the incident he’s reading about hasn’t happened yet and that it’s supposed to be an article about a pet rescue having a fundraiser, not something about a disaster happening on the other side of the country. Other times it’s not as hard to catch. Enveloped in his favorite book and of course right like a well planned cliffhanger he doesn’t know if the protagonist survives because he’s reading a warning about stubbing his toe when he goes to get a glass of water tonight.Not all the prophesies are bad things, sometimes they warn him about how the coffee shop didn’t mess up and make him a large instead of a medium coffee- it’s that the barista behind the counter wanted to do something special for him. Because he noticed something special about him. There’s more to that smile. Something warm and welcoming.He’s the quiet sort, always carrying a book with him. A careful reader, a skill he’s learned over time. His magic isn’t wands and spells like many other witches, his magic is an innate thing he carries in his chest. Almost like instead of being a manipulator of magic- that he is a vessel of magic. A chameleon clutches to his coat on days when the weather is nice- other days he rides closely tucked away where it’s warm. At time’s it feels like there’s a joke there, how chameleons look in two directions and so does he, one eye in the present and another always distracted by what’s to come.

To that anon about "I don't act like my rising sign" well it's not weird bc we don't act like it, it's only how people perceives us at first glance or before they got to know us. We seem like our rising, act like our sun and react like our moon 😜😂
