Day 3 of Eddtober AU eddition : Stardust AU + a little silly comic
Dear Starboy tord makes an appearance cuz I can’t go two seconds without drawing that mf. Also did put more effort than usual for this piece.

I'm not going to write this but I think as a fandom we should consider a Stardust au. It'd be tempting to make Buck the star but consider this:
Tommy is a star that got knocked out of the sky a decade and change back. He's managed to keep hidden and safe--stars are a rare and sought after commodity, after all--and made a name for himself as a sky pirate; no one could fly through the storms like him. He has a small but loyal crew and if he can't get home again, at least he has this, the sky and the wind and the distant songs of his brothers and sisters to keep him company at night.
And then one market day, a kid with desperate eyes and a birthmark stamped on his brow, asks for Captain Kinard. His sister has been taken and he needs to find a star to free her. Can Tommy help?
Tommy absolutely could not help, but he's always been a sucker for a pretty face in trouble--that's how he got pulled down in the first place--so he says yes because at least that way he can let the kid down easy when they don't find a star and also he can find out who's after him this time.
He takes the kid up in his ship, only it turns out that Evan is smart and curious and thinks Tommy is funny and loves his sister more than Tommy has loved anything in his life. Tommy finds himself teaching the kid how to ride the air streams and how to catch and store lightning and the true names of all the stars they steer by. And Evan tells him about how parents crossed the Wall to try to find a way to save his brother, only Daniel died and they ended up with him, and Maddie is the only who loved him. Maddie's husband hurts her, Evan confesses, but he can trade a star for her, and then the two of them can run away and find a place to be safe. Do you ever wish there was a place where no one can ever hurt you? Evan asks wistfully one night.
Why do you think I'm up here? Tommy answers, making Evan smile. This is the closest thing I could find.
It's a good place, Evan says, their shoulders pressed together.
And Tommy starts to shine.

Ooc: anyways, this is a very inexperienced RP blog about the stardust au, since I wanted to separate the question aspect of it from my main since I wasn't getting any questions at all for it over the past months or year or so. But I've seen a few other AU rp blogs and wanted to try them out! Any questions about how the stardust au works can be found here
Info: The basic premise of the stardust AU is that Puzzles and WPNZ are saved from the time rift, years later, puzzles are invited with the crew to go to the new Didney world that was apparently built over puzzle park, puzzles goes under to Puzzle Park, gains some kind of code and all shit breaks lose. Luckily, he has his husband, WPNZ, to help him keep grounded.
Character color coding:
Mr. Puzzles (or Mr. Stardust): White
Mr. WPNZ: Blue
Y_T: Orange
Mr. Remote: Red

Neither is the Star; SY and SJ are rivals trying to find it first.
Stardust AU
Basically an au where Rusty basically dies after getting beat up and the starlight gives him enough power to win the race and prove himself before he has to join the stars. And yknow how prusty has 3 main duets? Yeah that’s how stardust pearl comes in. Each duet is basically a different au of the au :((( Only you: Rusty sees Pearl for the last time and asks her to join him, also becoming starlight. Pearl agrees and they both ascend together. Ntyfil: Rusty has the chance to see Pearl again and they confess their love but he can’t bring himself to ask her to essentially die with him. Rusty hopes that in another world they can be together and Pearl is left wishing she had more time with him. I do: Rusty runs out of time before he can see Pearl one final time. He watches her from the star forever wondering if she felt the same as him.
In my mind they’re happy as stars
