Okay, now to properly introduce the one and only:
STARDUST! AU~

You might have seen me around before posting about it, but that's just before I got the full info of the lore down. I once made a fanfiction but completely deleted it because I hated the direction it was going. But now the AU is pretty much fullproof! (Besides one part)

So without further ado, Lore for the stardust AU/whole plot of it really:
When Puzzles and WPNZ try to close the time rift, Meggy swoops in at last minute to save the two because she can't bear the thought of having another person in her life die in front of her. She gives Puzzles a clean slate to try and make up for everything he's done, a chance but not a chance. She promises she'd kick him out to the streets if he even does something like what he did to them again. Most importantly, he has to earn her trust back. He's prepared for it to take a while.
WPNZ goes on to get a better assassin job from a more available and eager company. He and Puzzles still keep in touch, Puzzles uses a gifted sticker sheet from the crew every time he wants to remember their little meet-ups, since WPNZ is much busier, each time sticking a single sticker anywhere on WPNZ's body; headgear, cannons, body. WPNZ takes the body and cannon stickers off of him to put them in a notebook where all of his husbands extra stickers go. The only ones he keeps on are the ones stuck to his headgear.
A half a year or two passes since they were both saved. Puzzles has earned almost everyone's basic respect and some sort of trust now. Puzzles mainly hangs out with Tari since she has skills in mechanical operation, electronics, technological devices and advances. He usually comes to her when needing a touch up on his cables or head, his TV dials also get stuck in place a lot. Meggy and SMG3 had him put in therapy sessions. One day at a time where WPNZ was on a mission, where any mistake, even a call, could get him caught or killed, Puzzles' Seperation anxiety kicked in really bad, so every time he tried to call WPNZ the call failed or was ignored.
Meanwhile, SMG4 gets the crew tickets to a newly build Didney Worl, where the location sounds slightly familiar to Puzzles. The whole thing with theme parks is a horrible reminder of how he failed at managing to own an amusement park. Built originally to make people happy but the whole thing went downhill because of his mania and revenge ideal at the time. It never ended up opening to the public. Puzzles wasn't expected to be invited since he felt he wasn't fully accepted yet, and he technically wasn't integrated yet at all, but Meggy vouched for him to come with a ticket and a room. While they were on the road to the parks resort, Puzzles noticed the roads ARE familiar and he realizes where they were going. Puzzles had expected whoever owned the area to tear the park down, but all the direction signs were clear evidence. However when they arrive at the park the next day after getting settled into their rooms, Puzzles did have fun that day and stuck by Meggy, however, at one instance Puzzles was too tall to ride something Meggy wanted to, so Puzzles held her bag and waited on a bench outside for her. He heard something five minutes after sitting there, a familiar humming sound behind an employees only door, it led to tunnels underneath the park. Puzzles went down knowing likely it was a bad idea. Turns out, Puzzle Park was buried underneath the newly build Didney because of course they didn't care. They couldn't tear the park down without the owner, who at the time was in prison facing charges and a death sentence, so they just built atop of it.
The noise led Puzzles to the engine room itself, which surprisingly still existed somehow.
It is unknown what happened in that room...
The SMG4 crew did manage to find Puzzles with the help of a threatened Didney employee. He was severely injured, so Tari worked on fixing him up, however, she saw there was a weird unknown type of coding inside of him, making her confused so she tried fixing it. It wasn't easy to get out and she couldn't even manage to. It only leads to Puzzles glitching out more and getting angry often, screwing up his own therapy sessions, sometimes acting like he wasn't in control of his own body, tweaking out his powers, and eventually after a particularly rough therapy session, he had struck Meggy with his electrokinesis, leaving a faded electric blue lightning mark on the side of her neck. It had knocked her unconscious for two days and Puzzles never forgave himself for it. Puzzles felt so much guiltier because even when he's trying for real, he can't stop hurting her. He became more depressed yet determined to fix whatever was wrong with him so they wouldn't kick him out.
Luckily, Tari believed him because she saw the code herself. Her own luck ran out however when she forced her body to do something it wasn't capable of: overwork, she dropped badly and since she wasn't taking care of herself, she had to be put in the hospital. Lots of complications happened there.
Puzzles figures out some of the sounds and powers he's heard come from the First YouTube remote, he himself knows where it's located. He went to the first one, seeing it was vibrating and pulsing a light yellow color, stating coordinates in a deep raspy whisper. Puzzles jotted these numbers down and at the location, he found a map to a second YouTube remote, getting him into more research to figure this all out and at the end, he had a giant bulletin board showcasing his insanity at the moment.
On the day Puzzles goes to find the second remote, he runs into WPNZ, who arrived a day before. He sneaked out since he knew Puzzles wasn't doing okay, following the TV man to the edge of the nearby forest.
He confronts Puzzles about not telling anybody and blocking others out, hitting puzzles in a nerve. WPNZ admits he would like to help Puzzles ...if Puzzles takes the chance to ask him right now.
Feeling guilty, Puzzles agrees to his husband's help and they walk through the woods. Eventually, Puzzles feels nauseous, a star flickering on his screen where his right eye is, leading to him feeling like he was about to vomit. He runs off behind a tree and throws up thick technicolor liquid. Getting a headache, he stumbles back to WPNZ, coughing as he arrives. He refuses WPNZ's concern from him and the idea to go to a hospital. WPNZ had no choice but to follow Puzzles.
They reach the abandoned lab/archives and find out the second remote isn't there?
Puzzles body shakes and trembles. WPNZ, wanting to help his husband, goes to check everything out. He finds a book that he think will cheer Puzzles up but a hand on his shoulder stops him in place. He immediately turns around and punches Puzzles in the screen, shattering it as he throws the guy to the ground.
Puzzles and what is known as the second YouTube remote, Y_T, have merged into one being, creating someone now known as Mr. Remote.
Remote looks up at WPNZ with a manic smile, the star from earlier, now has circuits as a pattern inside it, is flashed in the right eye and WPNZ's left eye is transformed into a star.
WPNZ is stunned in place, he can't think straight nor move. Remote trips WPNZ with their tail coiled around WPNZ's foot cannon. It sends WPNZ to the ground in place of Mr. Remote, who shoves its foot against WPNZ's chest, crushing metal and wires and robotics. It fast forwards time to speed up and worsen the pain.
Eventually it looks confused and grabs its own antennas in anger, as if angry at its own head. This helps WPNZ get up and slam the book he grabbed over Mr. Remotes head, putting Puzzles back in control of his own body.
WPNZ tied Puzzles up which Puzzles agrees to as a precaution as they head back to the showgrounds. They experiment around a bit. Either way, Y_T takes control and Mr. Remote manages to escape, finding the first YouTube remote and fucking everything up.
In fact, Mr. Remote goes so far, that it manages to kill multiple families, thousands of people, all while trying to reshape the world in its own image.
After a whole entire thing, Y_T is unmerged from Puzzles and loses every power it had.
Puzzles tail is now permanently the first YouTube remote too. And Y_T is unfortunately stuck with Puzzles forever, which is more of a punishment to Y_T than Puzzles.
Sometimes Y_T can take over but WPNZ is always there to snap his husband out of it.
As of now, Puzzles is looking into this and deciding to investigate this coding more so it never happens again.
And that's the just of the AU! I really really encourage you to check some of my stuff out, as it took me a bit to plan this all out.
Either way, this post is just to tell you what the Stardust AU is! I'm very proud of how it turned out! And I think Stardust is too, he wants to give you a sticker! ⭐
