A Dragon and an Aspect
A place of myth, legend... of wonder. Sparkling resilient under the sun, rising above the clouds themselves, Mount Targon defied the logic of the world with it’s immeasurable heights. It dared people to climb it, many tried and many more failed. Only a select few were worthy enough to reach the summit, and yet so many of the chosen few were met with nothing but an empty waste of ancient and now meaningless carvings. Those who came back enamored spoke of visions of paradise beyond imagination, of wonders and sparkling beauty. Invariably, they all come back altered, affected and changed.
Tall tales for a tall mountain.
Taric rose from his sitting position, having a hard time concentrating on the poems he had been reading. Something bothered him. He couldn’t quite place it and he paced around the immense halls of the library. It was nearly abandoned, save for one old man who would rather die between the battles of Noxus and Demacia, than leave the books. Taric understood the desire. He had done many crazy things in order to preserve that which he held in high regard. The sunlight beat on the old, smooth stone, warm to the touch.
His thoughts wandered here and there, not having felt the call to defend something in immediate danger in a while, leaving him in a sort of limbo. Taric thread a hand through his silken locks, wondering what was bothering him that afternoon. An irritated presence nagged at the back of his mind, and it took him until just then to realize the source.
The captive Aurelion Sol. Of course the dragon was in a constant state of being irate. The poor being. Taric lamented his imprisonment, never knowing quite why they would capture such a being as a cosmic dragon. Whatever the reason, Taric had no way of freeing him. Well, maybe not conventionally.
An idea struck the aspect and he walked out of the lone library, out into the vast and seemingly endless grassy fields beyond. With a little, polite mental call, he summoned the dragon to him.

Scuffing in the soaked grass, the warrior was wandering through meadows for what felt like eternity. The cold glazing moon was reflecting from the dark, spiky plates of the armor giving it silver colour. With breeze hitting the girl’s face and spreading the mess of dark purple bangs, she kept walking.
Until collapsing onto the wet ground.
Her body demanded rest. Wounds made it harder to function. The armor couldn’t be possibly penetrated by any bullet but the impact of could be crashing in results.. And in fact it was.
Staring deadly at the night sky, she felt like succuming to the stars and join them. Cold started to not be a bother as the body was getting accustomed to it.
Just right before closing her eyes she noticed ribons of fading violet. Stars seemed to move but it could also be her fading conciousness.

“That’s a bit new for you, isn’t it? Don’t tell me you intend to fight like that, darling.” He blinks a bit dubiously at him, but huffs, obviously amused. “As nice a view at that would be, I do question the practicality of it.”
Pantheon hums, obviously flaunting his body and not being embarrassed by it in the slightest. “I do not particularly find it impractical. I think it would distract my enemies, do you not?” He grins, moving one hand to his waist and shifting his weight to one leg to better show off his muscles. “I know it’s distracting someone, at least.”

There had been so many calls to protect things lately, Taric had very little time to himself, let alone to summon Aurelion Sol for their usual escapades. It had been tiring for the mortal Aspect, to witness so much death and destruction. He was not immune to the ravages of war or the smallest cruelties now that he was chosen- if anything it hurt him that much more. His scope had widened when he joined the immortal beings on top of the mountain, and it had widened that much further the more he got to know the incredible star dragon.
Taric found his way to the cave Aurelion had come to enjoy spending time in, the beautiful and fragile multicolored walls had been breath taking the first time he saw it. Sol had brought Taric to see the faceted gem like cavern after a few meetings and with them they realized they were… compatible. The aspect of beauty had been awestruck, much to the creator’s amusement and satisfaction.
“Aurelion? Are you here?” His smooth voice bounced off the cave walls, sending tones of velvet to the dragon’s ears. He had been lounging along some of his favorite nooks in the crystals and slid out of the crevasse to greet the fond, entertaining Targonian man. “Up here, dear. How went the call? Save any pretty little damsels this time? Hmmm?” Sol’s sing song voice directed Taric to where he was and they met in the middle, Taric’s amused and gentle smile at the dragon’s teasing inquiry. “No, but I do get to take care of you. Does that count?” Taric’s kiss was playful after Aurelion Sol nuzzled him gently with his snout, as a deep chuckle vibrated the cave and crystals around them.
Taric was still learning how vast Aurelion Sol’s love was- he had seemingly boundless love to give, not just for his stars and galaxies, but for the beings that inhabited the little flecks of rock around them. It was repulsive and atrocious that the Aspects on Targon not only imprisoned him, but tricked him into it. His lips lingered on the dragon’s muzzle and Sol made a small contemplative noise after a while, peering down at the odd behavior. He transformed and made to ask a question but was cut off by Taric’s stormy expression, “Whatever is the matter now, boy?” He smiled and weaved his fingers through silken chocolate locks. He didn’t get long to enjoy the sensation of hair as Taric crashed his lips against the surprised dragon’s mouth.
It was a hot, heavy kiss with a hardness that wasn’t always pleasant or meant to be tender. It was uncharacteristically messy and unrestrained, burning with a passion and possessiveness never seen before. Taric was simultaneously angry and in love with Aurelion Sol in that moment, fueled with righteous fury at the Aspects and burning passion for the precious being in his arms. He made a promise to himself then, as his kisses laid claim to Aurelion’s lips, leaving colorful marks down his jaw and throat and shoulders, that he would love him as fiercely as he deserved and protect the pure, perfect beauty that was the being that showed him the wonders of the entire universe.
Too much Targon.
