Ah yes, thank you. I thought it was something to do with the bread but hadn't factored in the fire bit. Well you see, one of my younger sisters read them before me (my older sister has since stolen them) and didn't like the second or third book and then my best friend was so excited about the whole series she recreated (through exaggerated comics) the whole thing. Just like she ruined American Horror Story. So I never saw the need to go past the first book. Sorry haha.

Yes I have a question. So I've only read the first Hunger Games books (please don't crucify me) but I basically figured out what happened through Tumblr and my real life friends anyway. So my question is, why exactly are references to Everlark's kids called "toast babies"? And are you the only one who calls them that or is this a fandom thing that I will never understand because I'm not in it?

LoL, no no... Let me give you a real answer here...

First off, no. I am not the only one to call them toast babies. I know at least a few others do it too. And we like to call the actual canon children of Katniss and Peeta that because Katniss is the 'Girl on Fire' and Peeta is the 'Boy with the Bread.' So fire + bread = toast. 'So after', you get toast babehs.
