3. did it start off as a small crush for you, or did you quickly fall head over heels? how about vice versa? well! my s/i xander is kinda oblivious to romantic feelings, so it actually took apollo asking him out to realize "oh shit yeah i actually like my best friend." after that he was just. really confused and lowkey a mess?? because?? he was actually super in love with his best friend?? 5. when you first started crushing on them, what qualities stood out to you? was it their smile? their eyes? their way with words? anything else? how about vice versa? after xander realizes that man. maybe he does have feelings for his best friend, a lot of things feel a lot more...romantic to him, i suppose? the way apollo smiled at him, their gentleness when hugging him, the way they laughed when he cracked a joke...all of this made his heart flutter! apollo, on the other hand, always had feelings for xander. the glint in his eyes, seemingly hiding something more mischievous behind that happy exterior, the way he was just. unapologetically hinself, the fact that xander trusted apollo enough to let them touch him (xanders extremely touch-adverse) made their head spin. they loved him so much, but were always scared to vocalize it in fear that they would ruin their friendship. 7. youve just come to realize you have a crush on your f/o. how was it like when you encountered them again after that? were you able to keep your cool around them, or was it awkward? what about vice versa? xander was a theater kid and grew up acting, so hiding his feelings wasnt hard. usually. i hc that the two of them work together at a coffee shop called malcom’s coffee, so they see each other super regularly. outside of work, when they were hanging out? it was a lot harder for him to hide his feelings. at work, he could distract himself with making drinks, but when its just him and apollo, theres nothing for him to bury his feelings with? apollos always been fairly good at hiding their true feelings from xander, always following up their flirting with a laugh to play them off. there were always moments where they would just...linger, looking into the other’s eyes for too long or leave their arm around his shoulders after messing with him. 9. before dating, did either of you ever have any embarrassing moments? well! there was one time that the two look back on fondly! at the time it was....well. embarrassing. the two were on their lunch break, hanging out in the staff room and chatting about whatever. xander was getting off of work early for a doctors appointment, but before he left, he planted a kiss on apollos cheek, saying a quick “love you!! see you tomorrow apollo bye c:” and leaving to get in his car. apollo sat there like [shocked pikachu face], but it took xander till he was sitting in his suv to realize “jesus christ did i really just do that.” he ended up hitting his forehead against the horn of his steering wheel a few times lmao.
