        THIS   PLACE   WAS   BEAUTIFUL   .   so   many   models   were   around   the   studio   wearing   gorgeous   outfits   .   tadaomi   felt   completely   out   of   place   here   –––   but   it   was   his   first   day   on   the   job   as   hayato   kobayashi ’ s   assistant   .   he   wondered   around   for   a   moment   before   stopping   a   dressing   room   with   the   silver   plate   on   the   door   that   read   ‘   kobayashi   ‘   .   taking   a   moment   to   prep   himself   by   fixing   up   his   tie   and   making   sure   his   gloves   here   on   tightly   ,   he   knocked   on   the   door   twice   before   slowly   opening   it   .   “   kobayashi - san   ?   “   suddenly   ,   tadaomi ’ s   eyes   met   his   .   he   could   feel   his   cheeks   becoming   warm   and   flushed   .   “   a - ah   ...   “

        WHY   WAS   HE   SO   NERVOUS   ALL   OF   A   SUDDEN   ?   clearing   his   throat   for   a   moment   while   collecting   himself   ,   he   took   a   soft   bow   and   he   began   to   introduce   himself   .   “   my   name   is   tadaomi   shirotani   .   it ’ s   a   pleasure   to   meet   you   .   i ’ m   looking   forward   to   working   beside   you   .   ”   tadaomi   knew   many   things   about   fashion   –––   but   surely   not   as   much   as   someone   well   known   as   hayato   was   .

“Thanks for inviting me over, but I ain’t gonna blab about that fight. My brother is still pissed about how he lost, so just uhhh take artistic liberties.” Sai downed the tea like a shot, not at all bothered by how hot it was. He was nestled inside a volcano until he could learn to walk on his own. Heat had little effect on the wind deity.

“Anything else you wanted to talk about? I got fuck all to share.”

Waking up from an unplanned nap and cursing when he realized it was waaay later than he expected, he blinked at few times at the light flashing on his phone, finally realizing it was from a slew of missed calls. Sticking his glasses back on his face, and squinting in the darkness, he managed to snag his phone, checking the screen, grimacing at the time. 

2:17 AM 

“Oh I was supposed to see Bo today-” Worried that his friend was in trouble, he fumbled with the lock screen before managing to hit the notification for a new voice mail. One of several actually. Flipping through the first few, as they were just the sounds of drunk yelling in the background, he finally hit one that started with his name. 

Lips turning up into a smile, he awwh-ed at Bokuto’s drunk rambling, noting happily that he also had Fukurodani’s uploads set to send him notifications. Amused when he heard the pause, he wondered if he was about to get cut off, waiting to see if he’d hear the loud voice again. 

But his face stuck in the smile, cheeks coloring when he did get that second part. 

He wants me to do what to him? 

“H-hook up..?” 

Almost dropping his phone on his face, he caught it blindly before it could smack him, blinking up and screaming silently when he realized that he’d hit redial. About end the call and try to sort out the rollercoaster of information that he’d just been tossed through, he was too late when he heard sound on the receiving end. 

His mouth stuck for a few seconds, he didn’t hear a voice and decided to call out- just in case there was someone listening. 

“K-Kotaro? Hello? You alright there? I uh, got your message-”

“Oh, how wonderful.” The King simply said to himself sarcastically in response to the fact that he hadn’t long arrived where ever he was. And daemons had already begun to appear. There was a sigh. He would have to explore once the ones that had currently appeared were dealt with. His Ultima blade appeared in his hand and he charged for them. Straight away noticing them going to strike some innocent down. He appeared in front of them and blocked the strike. “Get to safety!” He said before slicing the daemon in half and dashing towards the others with the same intent.

With a sigh of relief, anything was better than Sai, she made a sudden breeze come through. A wave of leaves turning into hummingbirds that swarmed the goddess.

“Come on now, I have no intention to hurt you, at the moment.”
