procrastinatingfeminist answered: Funny, I didn’t expect to be able to do it bc i am fat (white European/ grew up in soviet part of Asia though). But def. not with flat feet on the ground and fuck do my knees don’t like bending that much. Sitting like this for ten minutes? Just no.o
random-nexus answered: I really think it depends on musculature and skeletal structure, but I could do it as a kid; although I got kinda chunky and couldn’t later.
tienriu answered: No - but! I had to relearn how to do it (over the past six months actually). I needed to build up the muscles again - once i could do a normal squat regularly, I was able to get to the asian squat really easily.
daroos answered: I can and I do asian squat. However I was at a party last night and did it and everyone commented about how they couldn’t and it was amazing that I could.

rionsanura answered: it’s a calf/achilles stretching issue. Definitely not a skeletal one; errybody’s got the same range of skeletons and they don’t differ as much as you think. Many white people can’t do it cause no practice. I extra can’t do it because I’m v stiff.
