For starktowering:
Orange: Who is your greatest literary inspiration, and why? I don't have one single source of inspiration. I love many authors for many reasons and I like to think I draw a little bit from all of them at various points in time. For example the way E.E. Cummings plays with form and structure, how he twists nouns into verbs and puts words together in unexpected ways, or the way Neil Gaiman's words just flow and have this lovely rhythm, especially in some of his dialogue that is just fun to read aloud. I love the intense, detailed world building of someone like G.R.R. Martin, and the way Stephen King weaves previous characters into new works and surprises his readers. I could really wax all day about this. :)
Yellow: What is your favorite style? I prefer to write in third person omniscient or third person limited POV. I go back and forth between long, detailed descriptions and more succinct, minimalist forms. I enjoy both but it's really about what serves the story and characters.
Silver!
silver: top three sources of inspirationI know this may seem weird, or not count, but I get a LOT of ideas when I'm driving, so that's one, for me, just driving, and having no other distractions. Music is another one. And really, sometimes the most random things inspire me; scenes in movies or TV shows or books, people watching, bits of conversation I overhear; I guess you could say the world inspires me?
