The whole "can't change the status quo" thing has been what turned me off the show. I try to catch up now and then, but I never feel like I really miss anything important because by the end of every episode nothing has changed...

I LIKED this show! I enjoyed it, and I kept making excuses for the episodic nature of the first season - saying that this was surely just to set us up for the way things would work, to ease us into the superhero stuff... Like a monster of the week formula goes on a little before we learn what exactly is happening, like Power Rangers, yanno?

And Astruc even promised coherent plot in season two. Buuut no. No, fuck all that. Ladybug and Chat realize Hawk Moth must be Gabriel? Well now he set himself to be Akumatized so no, they're never gonna follow up on that no matter how suspicious he is. Gabriel sees Adrien's ring and recognizes it? Well he tests the theory a few times but in the end decides his son isn't Chat Noir. Chloe remembers her childhood and realizes she needs to be nicer to people? AND she saves Ladybug and realizes it feels good to do good? Fuck it, next episode she’s back to her old ways. There are new Miraculous?! And Alya gets the Fox?! Tough shit, she has to give it back and only transforms one other time afterwards. Everything is episodic again.

And he wants five seasons and live-action movie of this????

I'm done with canon. Fanfiction is better than this now.

No talking In the room, no links in the room, so like, what do you even do in the group then?

Talk in the other rooms. *shrug* Art and writing had to be directly uploaded to the respective rooms, no talking was allowed in THOSE rooms. 

And you couldn’t talk about your art either because the only place for your work WAS those rooms.
