Luke liked to amuse himself with the idea that he was a very polite person and, when it came to it, he was a superb host! So when he got the call from someone that they were interested in rooming with him he was off-the-wall stoked! He had it all planned out: a nice big pot of his homemade stew sitting on the stove, one of his favorite movies playing on the T.V., even going so far as to put a tulip here and there to spruce up the new apartment smell and decor. Oh man, just looking around he was proud.
He whistled.
Look at this place! Dang, I would live here if I didn’t already! ♪
There was a knock on the door. He turned around so quick, one could get whiplash just looking at him. He gave the place a double check and sighed. He was really betting on this guy joining him on the rent. Luke, for sure, couldn’t handle it himself right now. Especially with his carpentry shop barely starting out. And his landlord didn't seem to be the forgiving type. Well....at least towards him.
( How was he suppose to know that wasn’t his mom in the picture??? He was just trying to be friendly...)
Anyways!!! There was someone standing outside this door that could make it or break it for him and he was sweating on making a good impression. He couldn't face having to go back home empty-handed. It’d kill him..! (Not really, but it'd sure as hell feel like it..)
Trying to remember the things his father taught him on treating people and how not to be annoying, it was almost overwhelming as he placed his hand on the doorknob. Taking a deep breath, he turned it abruptly-- opening the door faster than it could swing.
“HI! YOU MUST BE...”
He looked down at the smudged lettering on his hands he wrote earlier from the phone call.
“Wil...lard? Willard! It’s nice to meet you! Come inside! I got some tasty chow bubblin’ on the stove!”
(Wizard is done! He'll be working as an employee at the Narcissus Jewelry Boutique and living in Lotus Apartments 1B if Luke is chill with that! If not, then stick him in 1C please.)
