As soon as Ratatosk woke up, he patted himself down relieved that he was wearing clothes. For some odd reason, he felt like he went insane and did something massively stupid before the world ended which knowing him, likely happened. Shaking his head, he got up and slowly felt the Mana around him. It was different from where he was before but had the same tangency that he was used to back home and lifted out his hand- the area around his feet shifting as a Wolf was brought into existence. 

But as he sensed the Mana around, a familiar one pricked up. Ratatosk didn’t even have time to see the Wolf’s eyes opening when he turned around-

“You always try to surprise me even when I can sense you, idiot.” Even as he said this, the blond had his arms out as if ready for a hug

For the first time in a while, he had a stupid grin on his face.

Drop kicking a rich person was probably not the best way to start someone elses’ day, but it sure as hell was a fun way of doing so. He had run into the top section of Fibonacci and almost instantly he felt out of place and extremely irritated. And it wasn’t because everything was pristine and clean, but rather how fake a lot of the people around there felt. It didn’t help that one of the tried to escort him out of the park. So he in response drop kicked them. 

Which was a fine explanation as to why he slam-dunked himself into a elevator and flipped his chasers off with a shit eating grin while heading down to the lower floors.

“Not exactly what I was planning, but it sure as hell felt good!” Ratatosk knew he probably wasn’t going to be let up there again anytime soon, but who cares? What or rather, who he was looking for wasn’t there. 

Maybe on the lower floors with those Radiocats were. Seems like a thing that Aster would like.

he prefers winter. although the cold reminds him of his home and he’d rather avoid thinking too much about it, he prefers it over the overwhelming summer.

Although he had found a few things out since arriving in the city, it was clear to Eizen that there was quite a lot to learn here. It had its own history and cultures- an extremely diverse group of people. Some he was pretty sure would be executed on sight back in the Midgand empire.

Still, that was good history was good- in fact he loved it and the best place to learn about that kind of stuff was in a record-keeping place. Books. Apparently buildings called libraries existed here when you could find hundreds of them at once.

It didn’t take him long to find one thankfully the sector he was currently in was pretty easy to navigate. As soon as he entered he began piling books on a tray from different sections, not paying attention to anyone around him he casually knocked over another guest in the library. Not that he particularly cared who it was- some blonde youngster, paying him almost no mind he continued examining the shelves before muttering

“Watch where you’re going kid. These things are important.”

don’t get me wrong, there’s reasons to dislike her. and like, people don’t need a reason to dislike a character- if someone wants to dislike a character, that’s fine!

i’ve just seen so much character bashing that completely ignores character development over time and how she changes and grows as a person- she’s flawed, but she’s still very genuine and by the end of the game is an invredibly caring and strong person
