so pegasus and nebula are the only two members of the astrology club in NRC 👍
pegasus is a standoffish and feisty girl who prefers to be alone. because of her unwelcoming demeanor, she doesnt rlly have a lot of friends. however, despite her ‘uncute’ personality (thats what she calls herself anyways), she LOVES anything and everything cute! and she loves fangirling over anyone she deems is cute (ribbon trio). even tho shes kinda weird. like she says weird things.
nebula is a kind and princely kinda guy. hes very demure and charming and has the tendency to unintentionally flirt with people. hes actually really fucking dense and is unaware of causing these things. still, hes very sweet and is genuinely trying to help.
pegasus is not used to being liked by people. every time she likes someone, she has to chase after them. shes not used to being chased after so she ends up running away from nebula instead. because she doesn’t want to talk to him, she often makes him do things for her, turning him into her errand boy.
nebula always wanted to feel useful to people since he always felt like he was nothing more than just a pretty face. he wanted to prove that he was also useful in some way. it seems he finally found his place. because of that, he follows pegasus’s every order without hesitation no matter what. also he doesnt mind being berated by her. weirdo.
how they met. um. the reason nebula chose to join the astrology club was not because he liked constellations. well, he did like constellations and he liked learning about space in general. but his actual reason for joining was because of something else.
one fateful day after school, he was going back to his dorms particularly late. as he was walking, he saw a strange glow. perhaps a nightlight of some sort? either way, it was unusual. curious, he peaked through the small gap the door was leaving open. there, he saw pegasus excitedly observing constellations via a telescope. he had never seen someone so passionate before. and seeing how she was the only member, he had this strange feeling of wanting to accompany her.
the next day, he decided to fill out an application form to join the club, only to find out that the club president (aka pegasus) was planning to shut down the club at the end of the month due to it’s lack of members. nebula was surprised. determined for the astrology club to not meet it’s demise, he decided to talk to pegasus about joining himself. she was hesitant at first (because she disliked him, thinking he was arrogant and self-centered. which is a complete misconception) but eventually decided to let him in, putting her biases aside.
Nebula knew about Pegasus as he often saw her either pestering Epel or sitting alone in a corner. He never was that interested in her, as she seemed to be unmotivated and standoffish. However, he started seeing her in a different light after he stumbled across her alone in the club room. She just seemed to passionate and excited. It was kinda cute in a way.
Pegasus, on the other hand, got the impression that Nebula was an egocentric freak who believed he was superior to everyone. This is because of his ‘prince charming’ attitude (which isn’t anything he’s faking!! that’s just the way he is) and his tendency to ‘praise himself’ (he’s just repeating what others have told him, which are mostly positive things). So she was a bit weary of him at first, often ignoring him or snapping at him with insults. Eventually, she came to realize that. This guy’s just a fucking idiot. And he’s also dense, like really dense, so he doesn’t realize he might come off the wrong way. Which is why she grew attached.
