None of this is directed at fellow saltminers, just to all the people in the PVP forum because I need to get this out of my system
I swear, FR is the only place that I’ve seen complain about achievements that you get from just playing the damn game like you normally do. I get that people are sensitive, hell I’m sensitive too. But what I can’t get is that most of the people that I see acting like primary school kids on the playground with how butt hurt they’re getting over the announcement that achievements are getting added back are adults.
It’s not like this is new news either! Every single dev update we’ve gotten that had the refactor list has had the achievements on it. We knew that they were going to be added back.
And who gives a rat’s ass about the daily pursuits. Guess what! They’re optional! You don’t have to do them! No one is sitting over your shoulder telling you to do them! If you can ignore one thing on the site you don’t like doing, you can do the same with this! I know you people who complain about “but I won’t be able to ignore it!” can do that, because you will sit and talk about how you ignore another portion of the site. Just apply it to the achievements when they get out!
And holy shit, we don’t need a damn toggle for every single little thing. If the community ran this site’s features, I bet you 50 euros that fucking everything would have a toggle at this point. I support toggles for disability reasons. Hell, there’s some toggle features I wished existed because my own disabilities make it hard for me to use some aspects of the site that I wish I could. There’s some QoL toggles that I think would be a nice addition to the site that could benefit everyone. But god damn we don’t need a toggle for every single feature.

you know if you don't like achievement stuff you can just ignore it and not go out of ypur way to chase them, no one is making you do them
Part of me is super hyped for achievements, because I'm a huge completionist (think 'has a living Pokedex' levels of completionism). It also showcases how much work the devs have put into the site over the years, especially with the refactor, which is cool.
But also damn it guys, just give us commas already! I'm dumb and have to count the 0's like a pleb!!! And I am SICK of it!!!!!
Oh yeaaaa I can feel the "I'm so disappointed because this free game isn't giving me what I want" brigade on its way for the 10th anniversary.
We're going to get hundreds of achievements, quite possibly an entire 500 of them. We're also going to get daily, weekly and monthly activities for a special currency AND t/g, which I imagine will satisfy at least some of you who are so bored with/unable to use other money making methods. And that special currency is gonna be used in a new shop which will undoubtedly have plenty of cool stuff for us to get! Plus that doesn't even necessarily mean we won't get anything else.
Wow, if that's disappointing to you then I guess you may as well just go play something else until idk they add adventure mode or whatever else it is you people really want?
fellas, it's a 10 YEAR anniversary, of course it's not gonna JUST be the achievements. Come on. 10 years is a HUGE deal, of course they will give us more stuff. Maybe a new venue would be nice!
