1, 4 (best ending), 16, 23, 27
1. best anime you’ve watched
Hunter x Hunter. Objectively speaking, it’s everything an adaptation should be and more. Naoki Urasawa’s Monster is another great one, although it’s very emotionally taxing.
4. best ending of an anime you’ve watched
Most anime have pretty bad or unsatisfying endings, most of the time because they’re an adaptation and the manga isn’t finished yet. I think Kill La Kill had a pretty good one. Sakamoto Desu Ga too, it was really emotional despite it being a comedy anime.
For anime movies, Millennium Actress has my favorite ending ever.
16. anime you wish had another season
School Rumble. God, that anime was so good, and I was so sad the manga ended the way it did. The OVAs were more depressing than funny honestly.
23. characters that deserved better
Okay, so this isn’t anime exactly, but I’m gonna have to say Pyrrha Nikos from RWBY; her fate was a huge betrayal for me and pretty much the exact moment things started going downhill, and especially after that disappointing fourth season, I just can’t bring myself to watch it anymore, which is sad because I was really invested in Monty Oum and his work.
27. which anime universe would you like to live in/be a part of
Most of my favorite anime are already set in worlds similar to ours, so uh. I guess Psycho Pass? It’s fucked up, but it would be nice to have a path in life already set for me, and if I wasn’t able to comform, they’d just kill me! Sounds like a great arrangement for everyone involved tbh.
I’d love to have the dream machines from Paprika or social media as advanced as it is in Gatchaman Crowds though.
