-- With eyes clenched shut, attempting to block out the sun as it shone directly into his eyes from the open, natural, patio doorway, Yusaku was left to grunt lightly; tossing and turning against comfortable sheets in a rather soft bed as the sensations alone felt welcoming... but.. new. Alien. Different. After adjusting his position against the sheets, the brightness against what should have been the darkness of his eyelids didn’t at all lessen, and sleep was a window that was closing... with not many options left, he sighed and relented, lifting his hand away from his eyes to look up at a gray ceiling. A gray ceiling with a fan upon it that didn’t at all belong in his usual home.
His mind wasn’t at all awake -- lagged as he rolled his head to the side; staring out into the bright, blue sky covered in specks of pink.. Cherry blossom petals falling away to the ground a story below...
Tired, green eyes continued to watch the petals as they fell, memorizing their color, the way they drifted in the wind, and--...
As the petals fell outside of their patio, he was reminded of the rather large ceremony he had played a rather important part in the day before... of the petals floating and drifting in front of his face, in his hair, and only blocking the view for a mere moment before allowing Yusaku to look into bright, passionate rubies all over again... as he held his hands within his own, and prepared to share vows... before sealing their promise with a kiss.
That’s right... He was away from home, but he was away after taking a quiet limo drive with his partner, to a place where it was just them, and no one else. Quiet seclusion after a loud and open ceremony. A trade off of compromise. A trade off, that, now, as Yusaku Fujiki sat up just slightly against cream colored covers with rose petals scattered around his feet on the end of the bed, had no problems with.
It had definitely worked in his favor~
Yusaku turned over, facing the other side away from the brightness of the rising sun, to see such a peaceful face resting against the floral pillow on the other half of the bed. Yusaku couldn’t help but chuckle, as he watched the entertainer breathe slowly in his sleep...
How he was able to sleep through the bright sun was anyone’s guess. But, considering he was in charge of the event more than Yusaku was... he was probably tired after all his hard work.
Yusaku slowly, and gently, wrapped his arms around Yuya’s sleeping frame, resting his head against Yuya’s own as his smile remained unfading, small yet bright as he ran a hand through Yuya’s red and green hair, finding himself not used to the weight of the ring against his finger as he stroked his partner’s hair. He kept his voice low, as he spoke to him...
“Hey. Yuya. Yuya. It’s morning.”
“Do you want to keep your husband waiting?”
