@starry-lions  great question!! it’s basically about a popular fashion blogger, lottie person aka “snottie” snotgirl, who gets her (very strong) hay fever medication changed one day, and she stops being able to tell the difference between reality and hallucinations. it’s also heavily implied that this is a part of someone’s elaborate plot against her, but… she’s a bit too wrapped up in the insular world of fashion blogging to notice.

it nails the aesthetics of various fashion bloggers, it is so visually appealing and a decent satire on that. probably wouldn’t recommend it to people who can’t stand self-absorbed characters though.

picking a favourite character is pretty hard but i think it’s one of the very few stories where the main character is my favourite character!!  lottie is very vain and selfish, but she’s also super insecure and it seems like there is no-one in her life who has her best interests at heart. she is a quintessential flaming bisexual disaster, and especially dear to my heart as a fellow hay-fever sufferer :’)

oh yeah absolutely! it comes to a point where I just see my fish doing something extremely basic and Im like oh fuck yes you go that’s my boy... I get this whole soccer mom mentality going on that is probably incomprehensible to folks who havent had fish
