Which color describes you the best, and why?
Olive green? There's a bit of yellow because apparently I'm cheerful and shit, but it's dark cause I think a lot. And I aspire to the whole rich thing, as my friends all know.
If you could learn any style of martial arts, which one would you pick (psst say jujitsu)?
Lol um I'd go back and actually finish karate (sorry mia) because I didn't suck too much at it?
Thoughts about summer? Use only caps.
IT'S HERE IT'S FINALLY HE--HO SHIT IT'S FUCKING HOT ABORT ABORT
Do you owe fealty to the glow cloud? Do you smell faintly of vanilla?
No...I hail no one but my own awesome self. Yes. No, I meant no to vanilla. Is this a WtNV ref? It is, isn't it?
Would you rather be able to fly or control time?
DAMMIT MIA. These are my two most dearest wishes. Uh. Time. Because I could die while flying or something. Time = me getting shit done. or blogging more pics of cats. As you will.
What’s the thing people notice about you first?
Idek. My hands? I wave them at people. =P
Which character is most dear and precious to your soul?
Mary Lennox from The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgeson Burnett. I was a spoiled brat, but I was lonely as heck when I little, and I had no fucking clue how to make friends. They tended to come to me or not at all. Or maybe Frenenqer Paje from The Girl with Borrowed Wings by Rinsai Rossetti.
If we're talking fandom-characters then I'd go with Hermione Granger because, c'mon. I think half of us were her. It was deeply gratifying to see a girl like that in a book, and still be appreciated and beautiful and loved. And win.
If you could undo one point in history, which one would you pick? Why that one?
I wouldn't. Because history happened, and it made the world we live in today. The world sucks, and you realise that as you grow older, but maybe another world will suck even more. So I'd rather stick with the one we've got that I know how to semi-safely navigate, thanks. And we human beings need to figure out how to not repeat mistakes and move on and improve the world. If I undid anything, it would be like erasing a mistake, right? And that doesn't help us, as a species, grow.
(If I had to though, I'd make Zhang He go and discover the "New World" sooner--China had no interest in colonisation, but we had a lot of "Old World" diseases--maybe the Native American tribes would have stood more of a chance if they'd had some exposure/immunity a little earlier, without violence.)
What is the best thing that happened to you today?
I got a letter from starrytauriel aka Mia <3 and have written one back. Letters are love and we should all go to the post office more often--I mean, email and texting's great, but letters give you a sense of excitement when they arrive.
It's like getting a gift from someone else, only they didn't spend much except time out of their day to tell you that you matter to them enough for them to do so, and want to share thoughts. Also, FOR POSTERITY.
If you had all the money in the world, what would you do first?
Buy a lot of land. Preferably a forest. Build a mansion in the middle of it, put it in a dome or something to minimize messing with wildlife (I want to be a hermit but internets) and get a helicopter for groceries. Or something. Maybe make it a nature trail? I just want to be alone in a forest with evergreen trees but I like big old mansions with dark wood and courtyards. And actual wallpaper.
Which song could you listen to on repeat forever?
Courtesy Call by Thousand Foot Krutch. I've listened to it on repeat nearly non-stop for four days straight before. And I can do it again.
Not tagging/asking questions because wow okay I wanted to do this but now I'm tired. But this is fun. Questions are fun. I encourage everyone to answer my friend's questions because look how fun and introspective they were QUESTIONS. answer them. c:
