This was the type that Jason liked? Terry shrugged his shoulders as he circled the lantern. “I thought you’d be some hulking dude--but you’re fit and slender...are you as pretty as they say though?”

❝i have several questions, first off WHY?❞
Introduction Prompts | @starscalled
Why was a simple question, holding a fire spitting space alien on a leash after bringing it from the nearby orbit on to this planet named Earth. It wasn’t really his sector but visiting is visiting and business is business. Thisbusiness being the fact that there was a hellraising beast creeping around Sector - 2814, and it wasn’t very pleasing to the passing by residents.
Hands caressed the beasts jaw, the drool coating his hand which he seemed tobe unphased by. The plan of smuggling this thing into Earth’s atmosphere wasn’tthe best it seemed, though it wasn’t safe to carry the beast back to his sectorwhen he himself didn’t even know what to do with it. Bringing hostile creaturesback to Odym wasn’t safe for the other species that inhabited it, the GreenLanterns staying on Earth should have a place to put it in the meantime.
‘ I was simply hoping to allow it sanctuary for only a small time. UntilI can find which planet it belongs to. ’

Eight minutes of convincing and finally Connor’s decision begins to sway. Connor releases the arrow from the string and allows it to fly across the training room and into the first arrow centered in the bullseye of the target; the first arrow splits in half.
He lowers the bow and looks at Kyle with an unsure smile.
❝ Please understand that I appreciate the invitation; you don’t want me to attend, Kyle, I’ll stand out like a sore thumb if I go this party. Besides, drinking isn’t something I enjoy. ❞
One second longer looking at his best friend’s face and he resigns. ❝ If you really want me to go, I’ll go, for you. ❞

Steve was used to stuff like Grecian gods and monsters thanks to Diana, but that didn’t mean he got caught off guard from time to time. This was one of those times, evidently.
He rubbed his temples and sighed before looking up at the Lantern. “It’s fine,” Steve muttered.
“Yep, that’s me,” he replied before raising his brow. “Is that so?”

The Amazon furrowed her brow in anger, her hands curled into fists as she reprimanded the Lantern. Rayner might have been new to the Corps, but that didn’t excuse him from his reckless behavior. “I don’t care what you thought!” she said, her voice growing louder with every word. “What you did could have gotten us killed--you included!”
She let out a heavy sigh, looking away for a moment before returning her gaze to the Lantern once more. She looked calmer, but there was still an edge to her voice, and her anger was still evident in the way she looked at him. “Just...try not to be so reckless next time.”
