I realize I’m pretty inactive but I needed to share these screenshots of Steve being an absolute NERD.

First off, Steeb is tired and doesn’t need your jokes (but we love you, Etta).

Steve made about a documentary dedicated to DIANA after she died in the end of Death Metal

Steve ducked his head and smiled. “Please, I’m just doing my best he said, leading him inside. “Take a seat. You need any water or anything?”

“Well, I’m here if you want to talk, or  ..anything,” Steve said, leading Clark inside.

Steve’s face fell the moment he noticed Clark’s demeanor. “Yeah, sure big guy,” he said, stepping aside. “Is something wrong?”

Steven Trevor is a good man - something Diana knew when they’d first met. While she could not explain it to anyone else, he was her rock. Something she’d been missing before he happened into her life. Diana leaned her head against his and closed her eyes for a minute after their kiss dissipated. 

“ Thank you. For everything — I can always count on you to have my back. “ 

To love one man so wholly and purely as Diana did should have been a crime — though she’d never given voice to that notion. 

Steve smiled. 

He loved these quiet moments. The serenity, the knowledge that he was safe with his beloved. Diana was a force to be reckoned with, he loved that about her. Her fierce strength Her gentleness. He loved every bit of it.. He didn’t know what he did to deserve her, but he did love her.

“Of course,” he said softly. “The feeling is mutual.”

The mention of ‘ regal ‘ sent a small childish thrill through Diana. She had spent so much of her existence in the shadow of her mother’s queenship & until recently - she’d been content that way. 

“ You’re coming to the crowning ceremony, aren’t you ? “ 

Diana’s face fell prematurely - yes, she wanted Steve to be there — but, he had duties of his own to tend to. Why couldn’t she seem to understand that ? 

“ I understand if you can’t. It’s not a big deal. “ 

Bright blue eyes regarded Diana with fondness and devotion, taking in every aspect of her being, every detail that had long been etched into his memory. Words would never be enough to describe how much he loved her, he knew. Hence why he devoted himself to showing her every day. 

A reassuring smile tugged at Steve’s mouth and he leaned over to kiss Diana on the kiss. “Of course I’m coming, angel,” Steve assured her. “I got the time.”

Steve adjusted the broach again, the shining silver metal glinting in the low lamplight, his warped reflection staring back at him in its shiny reflection. 

Steve always thought t suited her--the air of royal decorum, and sophistication. Diana was a warrior, and unifying force. And well, when you’re a princess of the Amazons, how else are you supposed to dress. 

“Of course angel.” He stepped back, and smiling as he regarded Diana in full. “It suits you.”
